You are absolutely right ! Its even Better then in case of the Invader ATV or the Ironclad Tacital Warsuit, because they have fixed targets ! Nice ! I'll add a correction and thank you for the heads up on this one!
For the overlord because he's in a unit being led he would get the +1 to hit as well, so the only downside to a voidscythe is 1 less attack. In my opinion you always take the voidscythe. Also for the Doomsday Ark you said you only get 10 anti-infantry shots if they are within 12", that's not correct, the Doomsday Ark has 2 Gauss Flayer arrays not just 1, so you'd actually get 20 shots.
Hi @kylemacgillivary5577 ! Thank you on the Heads up on the Doomsday Ark's Gauss Flayers I'll add the correction to the video. On the +1 to hit, yes its the Army ability, so I thought it would be somewhat miss leading if I added that rule to any of the Characters, because all of them are providing the buff while they are leading a Unit. All in all I Agree on the Voidsythe Probably its the Best in 80% of the time, but there are a lot of Marine players in my area and as I see for now The Overlord's Blade working really well against them (only against MEQ), against Terminator and Gravis the Voidscythe is the Clear Winner tho. Last but not least, I would like to Thank you for Watching the video and Giving some useful Insights!
@@ThePuritySEAL No problem! I just wanted to mention regarding the voidscythe again, you're pretty much never taking an overlord solo so I feel mentioning it still hitting one 2+ is important. It's also good because if you get tagged in combat by a vehicle or monster it can help you deal with them and it will obviously still deal with marines very well. One game against my friends tyranids he tagged my unit of warriors in combat with a haruspex. Having the voidscythe was the only thing that really allowed me to deal with it eventually.
Illuminor szeras ap shenanigans aura helps the warriors blobs so much, +1 ap hits done and -1 ap hits taken. He's following my warrior blob with gauss flayers that has orikan and a technomancer to make them 4+ invuln and 5+ fnp. Overlord with res orb can swap out with orikan if you want a little less save rolls but an extra reanimation protocols.
It feels Good the Szeras has a place in the army again. I'm not sure that Orikan Can go with the Technomancer, since neither of them has the Noble Keyword, although if they can its a tanky blob for sure. In most cases I prefer the Overlord because he WILL provide something useful 100% of the time. Orikan can be a hit or miss depending on your opponents weaponry (lots of 0 AP).
Nice :D Royal Warden + Chronomancer + Reapers: This one Looking really Great , Like Fast Shoocktroops 10+D6 and Still shooting... I'll try this out next game :D Overlord + Plasmancer + Flayers: This one is really interesting, as I can see that it can do a Lot of work, although its seems like a High Risk High Reward thing :D Successful Charge = Delete enemy unit :D
IMO Lychguard = Warriors, if not better. Warriors can be made nearly unkillable with enough buffs, but they cant really do any damage back. That's a lot of points to just sit on a point and prob be ignored. Lychguard actually do some hurt and can tie up the enemy without going down.
Hi yes, I completely understand your point too I prefer the warriors, because if your opponent is killing them , then not killing anything valuable and this unit either score points or soak up a lot of firepower. also I have had Terrible Luck with the Lychguard and I took it as a sign :D P.s.: I've seen Lychguard do amazing things and survive things that they shouldn't have. Sorry for the Slow answer I was in a hospital with very limited (if any) screentime.
I'm hoping they come out with a combat patrol. Seemed like the units you like are going to be in the combat patrol they've talked about. I have never played but I'm almost there and I'm thinking about Necrons very strongly, them or death guard
Ye The Curent Combatpatrol with the Croassaint ( the Flyer) :D is not optimal, i heared rumours about a new Combat Patrol, but until GW confirms it it remains a rumour... but, ye Necrons are strong right now and feels good to play them. Death Guard for now atleast, is not in a good place sadly.
Hi ! First of all Thank you for watching, and here is the answer that you are looking for! Its in the New Rules Commentary Which you can download for free from the Warhammer Community Page. ■ Strength, Toughness, Attacks and Damage characteristics can never be modified below 1. The exception to this is where a rule specifies that you can change the Damage characteristic to 0, where this is applied before any other modifiers In case of the Overlord the rule does not specifies that it can be 0 so that why it can't be less than One !
Since 10th I'm really having Bad Luck with them, somehow the Skorpekh things always perform better...for me at least. But Thinking on a 10 man Squad (with Sycthes) with Orikan and a Lord, that could be Punchy and somewhat Survivable.
@Beniwow92 well, most people don't run them to actually kill things. The meta is sword+shield and just have them sit on objectives without dying. Personally, I've tried Skorpekhs and was not impressed. They're way too squishy. I want to try the scythe+orikan lychguard, I'm afraid to model my boys that way though as it'll undoubtedly get nerfed, haha
