Its a high 13 second truck closer to 14 sec stock, digs and rolls are different for these turds transmission arent the best for rolls its only a 3 speed + over drive, compared to a 6 speed, and big weight to power difference, im 1000lb+ heavier and making similar power to the ss, stock 2018 ss are mid 12 seconds stock, this one just had a intake and catback doesnt really gain much hp from that but still making similar power to me, the best i got down this truck from a dig was a 12.1
I spent in total with bolt ons built motor all fuel mods about 10k about 4 years ago so prices might have gone up, i just need a bigger super charger to make real power, this vid i was on low boost around 12psi,
I got the cams done when I went built like 6 years ago, the full build was about 7000-7500 with labor and parts, i dont know exactly how much it’d be just to do the cams themselves id imagine about 2000-2500 including labor and parts and im pretty sure parts have gone up in price as well
If anyone needs help with a cam install or removing the heads comment here and I'll reply back with any help I can pass along. Had a spark plug blow out on #4 cylinder and just did a jlp head swap with stage 3 cams. Was a pain but so worth it. -1 on JLP tho because the heads leaked oil out of the blocked off oil galleys. Definitely their fault, but they made it a pain for anything to get fixed. I forced them to pay a mechanic to have it fixed considering I had done the install perfectly and wasn't about to fix their mess for free. Go trickflow with the heads. That way you install your own npt fittings and can make sure they're not gonna leak.
He doesn’t tune my truck I was just checking what my whp was at first pull i had just pulled up it was heat soaked from driving in the texas 90* weather, then i let it cool down and made more power
What type of Cam did you use? Did you have to Change the piston firing order? I have a 2017 Ford F150 5.0 Lariat SuperCrew 4x4, and I want to add a Comp Cam and a performance Milling oil pump.
The newer 5.0s are a different ballpark, they have 4 cams, these 5.4s only have 2 , i have no clue what you would require to run upgraded cams on the 5.0s correctly may depend on your end goal, most cars depending on engine usually need upgraded timing chains, valve springs, retainers, cam rods, cam sprockets, larger injectors for more fuel delivery which usually leads to upgraded pumps fuel rails, lines etc. depending on the power level, you just have to figure out an end goal and speak with someone that has done cam swaps or can do them for the 5.0s

Yes i was making that amount when i was only full bolt ons then after i went built i had cams installed, ported blower and different headers more air flow decreases your boost still making the more power because of better airflow the motor is breathing better
Stage 3 comp cams, motor is built Manley forged rods and pistons, stock heads just supporting mods for cams, full bolt ons with a GT500 supercharger, trans just has a upgraded valve body and larger converter
Yeah my head isnt upgraded other than valve springs and retainers, bottom end should hold up to 450whp ish more if you’re on low boost cams shouldn’t give you too much hp you benefit from them when you’re on high boost you would probably get 40-60whp extra from the cam
