I caught my first fish, a bluegill, at the age of 5 using a cane pole and bobber in my grandfather's pond in SE Nebraska. Growing up in Colorado, my dad and I frequently fished for trout in our local rivers and the beaver ponds near the mine where he worked. At the age of 17, an older friend took me fly fishing for the first time. We fished Tenmile creek, near Copper Mountain, and I still remember catching my first fish on a dry...a size 14 royal wulff. Needless to say I was hooked.
Since then, my fly fishing adventures have taken me all across the western United States including guiding in both Alaska and Oregon, chasing steelhead in British Columbia, fly casting competitions, and pursuing bonefish, tarpon and permit in Belize.
Fly fishing has been a major passion in my life now for over 30 years and I’m excited to now bring some of my adventures to you.

The redneck in me wants to call you a nerd, but that was a master class in boat launching! I prefer an aluminum boat and the "just send it" method, lmao!🫡
Cool viedo, but I wish it wasnt filled with the same copyright free guitar riff. I want to feel like I am out there too, I want to hear the natural sounds
I fish NJ 60yrs with 6ft fly rods, I have some new ones 6" 3" and I have a 5ft whar a fly rod I got it at Pro Bass fly shop, I have TY Orvis fly reels 3 and half ins..
As a fly fisherman that climbs, you over complicated that a bit…..the actual anchor is the truck, so incorporate that DIRECTLY is the first thing……yeah, the trailer shouldn’t come off the hitch, buuuut….overall we can utilize the climbing saying, “but did you die??” And call it good (enough) and that was fun to watch!!! 👏👏😜😜
I fished the green at least 4 times in 90’s and 2000’s. Used a guide named ‘Boomer’. Anyone know the name?? We floated the river and hooked up at least 50 times and landed 25 on each float. Actual numbers may vary. 😄. It truly is a wonderful river to fish. Best I’ve fished in west in Utah and Colorado.
I'm pushing 70 and I can honestly say.... THIS IS THE MOST UNACCEPTABLE.... Behavior of a psychopath, with a badge and gun 🔫. Democrats want to restrict our 2A rights....and this is WHY #####
❤i watched fifteen seconds of your video and said that looks like the Green. I remember that overhanging boulder too. Haven't been there in twenty years. Camped at Dutch John, close to the power lines a few times
Hi buddy I’ve just started fly fishing my local water is truly small uk brook at it widest no more than 3 meters but it runs very deep to deep to wade I’ve just pick up cheap 6’ #2 weight rod I’ve very limited room to fish and the water and cast in these conditions what size leader should I be using the one that came with the rod set was 9” but seems much to long when I’m so limited any advice would be much appreciated thanks Dave uk 🇬🇧
These guys are funny, I have a boat launch at the end of my road, These idiots that have these boats and trailers block the turn around every year many a times so all people can't get through, first off there's no reason for these boats on the river, it's a half of foot deep sometimes 3 feet, but anywho when we see these infadels park there trailers like this and we just Jack them into the woods upside down,, then you should see them trying to get their boat's back up that huge hill, I bet them dumb ass's got some hernias, to funny !!!!
