Right when I was gonna stamp this guy “rookie of the year” 😂 for putting piping hot coffee in a thin red solo cup this dude puts the lid on the thing, it’s a ceramic coffee cup made to look like the classic solo cup we drank from at “study hall” … he done learned me, now let’s see if he can fish….😂 Quick update he can cook too?
This is seriously the best video how-to on RU-vid! Thank you for this! You filled in all the blanks for me and even added some new ideas. Awesome guide!!!!! I’ll be watching more of you now.
I ended up trying the bone bracket after watching this. I had a set of antlers from a buck I shot a couple years ago. I painted the skull cap black and the display looks great on my wall! I recommend this to anyone.
I have friends that have been rocken the stormy kromer since the seventies. Being from Kaukauna we always took pride in Stormy Kromer hats. Loved the video.
Is it possible if I can speak with you some how? I live in Milwaukee, zues my husky got it in lake mills lake. Same everything literally as your dog. Caught it at decent time I think. My vet has zues on itraconazole not the one you had. My vet does know that it’s blasto though. I don’t now if it’s the medication that all these side effects. It’s been about 3 months of constant medication of 200 ml daily split into two servings. Sometimes he seems all good then later he gets very tired and nauseous. Next check up isn’t for a month yet
Do you find the 7 Ah batter is enough to last the full season? There are a number of larger 12Ah or 15 Ah batteries out there. Wondering how much is enough?
There are so many factors that play into whether or not a battery is enough, from strength of signal, to flash power to video or pics, pics sent daily or ASAP. The simple rule for me is that if it’s pics only and your at about 20 pics a day then 7ah will work for a whole season. Anything more like 50 pics a day and especially video then go with the 12ah or more. Especially if your like me and you don’t even want to go into an area to disturb it even once.
Our diet, I believe, is the biggest factor in our health and mental wellbeing that we can control. I radically changed my diet 16 months ago and I've changed my life, my happiness, my health, and my outlook on life almost completely. I've also become a better hunter and outdoorsman because of the abundance of energy and lack of brain fog I now have. Foods will affect you in ways you would not believe, especially refined and processed food like products and carbohydrates/sugars. Run far away from those.
Sometimes it’s the color and another huge factor is a flurocarbon leader. I only use Seaguar fluro and my leaders are 7’ - 9’ of fluro with a blood not attached to the main line. Also, 8’ test fluro will even make a huge difference over 10’ to 12’ fluro.
Nice Video! Me and my family are going here to fish smallies for the first time in memorial day weekend, I have never fished this before and wondering what to use and how to use it. Also, What depth would they be at and how deep were you fishing? It would make my weekend a lot better , Thanks.
Suspending stick baits will be a good start. Holographic colors if it’s sunny and matte colors if it’s cloudy. Also, dragging a tube in a black or green pumpkin color will work very good as well. Black hair jigs will be another good option. Good Luck out there!!!
I am sorry to say that Chloe crossed the Rainbow Bridge on March 14th of this year of natural causes. She lived to be over 15 years old and she gave us 8 more years than we expected after her dealing with Blasto. Until we meet again little girl.
My dog was diagnosed with this about a month and a half ago. Although he was sick probably a month before because, almost same as your case, the vet wasn't knowledgeable and got to the point, same as your Chloe, just laid stiff and couldn't even touch him without yelling. Switched vets and he is doing much better. His back legs are very weak the past little bit..did your pup have issues with that? Such a horrible thing to watch. So glad Chloe is well ❤️
New Subscriber. I just started a new channel n was going to call it Oak n Iron. Because of my little diy stix. I was thinking of it for almost 2 yrs. Just dropped the hammer. Oh, it suits you way better. Oak n Iron is that what you eat? lol. Take a look at what I'm doing. I think you'll like it, especially the stand mod. (One Stixing like a BOSS). I hope you do, and you leave a comment. Thanks
Nice! Actually the name Oak stands for the Outdoors and Iron stands for training and exercise component of my channel as I’m a personal trainer and an associates degree in physical therapy. So I also talk about exercises in regards to hunting and fishing. Good luck with your channel and I will subscribe.
It’s a great time and we love fishing there. You’re very fortunate to live there. Matter of fact, I told my buddy Jim that I couldn’t live there because I wouldn’t get anything done. Be fishing all the time! 🤣🐟
Great job thanks for the info. There is something that I use for those contaminated connections called DeoxIT just spray on both sides of the connections.
Thank you for sharing Chloe's story. I am so glad to hear that she recovered. My 2-1/2 year old mini Schnauzer rescue has tentatively been diagnosed (the vet is almost certain based on lesions, symptoms & her basic knowledge of the appearance on the slides). We are awaiting results from the laboratory to confirm. Meanwhile, she began treatment with Fluconosol 3 days ago on 3/4/2024, & an NSAID for pain. He has several lesions, & 3 days ago, she discovered lesions in one eye. It had been tender for a couple of days. I am praying he survives. I adopted him from a rescue in KY mid November 2023.
My English pointer caught it in northern WI this summer. 95% positive on an exact lake you described. Lake John in Lakewood, WI. It looked like she was all clear after 7 months of treatment. She’s been off her meds for a month and a half and it just showed back up in her left eye. Between vet appointment Friday AM where they hoped it was pinkeye but didn’t rule out Blasto return to Sunday PM, she’s now lost her vision in her left eye. Started treatment back up today. Unlikely she regains vision and likely will need to have eye removed but outside of that she’s her typical self. When she first got it her breathing was so labored. That was really only symptom she had. Her chest X-rays were packed with the fungus. They prescribed her itraconazole then and now. Plus now she’s on darzolamide eye drops. Itraconazole retail is roughly $600 for 60 pills. If you use GoodRX app you can get it for roughly $60 for 60 pills.
