My main issue with shadow Work is that others notice progress in you, but you usually don't, because how deep the change is. This creates a blind spot that may make us conclude that the inner work is not producing any results. Only recently I noticed that I am less eager to respond every argument, and I am less likely to get mad at traffic... But I had to remember key details to realize it. Others also notice it and interact with me more.
Excellent work young Master... ❤🎉❤ Keep up the Divine work of helping others find their harmonious relationships with our magnificent Universe through seeking balance within and without to consistently achieve our highest versions of the highest visions we've ever had of ourselves and our Divine families...🎉❤🎉
Sure, I have likened starting out in psychology to programming; with so many programming languages, one can be overwhelmed and unsure where to start. The same is true for psychology. There are so many different schools of psychology that I didn't know where to begin. However, my intuition guided me towards Jung and Analytical (Jungian) Psychology, and after a long process of filtering out other psychological practices, I found that Jung had all the answers I was looking for. As for whether Jung was a shaman or not, he most definitely would be considered a shaman in ancient or tribal times. In modern times, he is much more than that, so simply calling him a psychologist does not do him justice. He was a pioneer, and what he did, not just for psychology but for the future of civilization as a whole, is completely understated in my opinion. It is a shame to me that his work has essentially been buried under the rubble because his discoveries are so profound and dangerous to the status quo. He was a revolutionary similar to Buddha, Jesus, or Lao Tzu, in my honest opinion, way ahead of his time.
I think u are making a good point here 18:10 about the true nature of psychology. Indeed it is subjective, and part of the (im)material evolution as well.
I am glad someone finally wanted to have a go at explaining the animus …I don’t fully agree with everything here …but it’s at least a great beginning to even try…very awesome 😊
There does seem to be a correlation between INTP's, Asperger's, and ADHD. My guess is that it is just part of the personality type. It's a very interesting topic that maybe I should talk about.
I had for few months different dreams but with the same action, i was attacked by evil creature always aiming for my heel, the last one was about me floating in the air and a dark shadow reached to catch me by my heel. A week after i was crushed, i had a severe emotional shock that shaked my whole being, broke the illusions i was feeding with and i was left asking who am i really. I guess it was what they call "ego death". The point is that for me the dream was about being tested with my deepest weakness, never had that dream after again. It felt like i was tested by the devil in hell, my faith was the only thing that saved me to be honest. I'm still recovering.
In Greek Mythology, Achilles' heel symbolizes a person's vulnerability or weak point. The creature could possibly represent some form of the "creatures" of the unconscious, the repressed shadow. It seems you may have repressed a lot of aspects of yourself, such that the "monsters" have grown to such a size, they can no longer be repressed. Floating would indicate a sort of detachment from the ground, which normally symbolizes reality. The figure grabbing you by the heel is probably trying to bring you back down to your humanness, your earthly, instinctual self. When an individual stops running, confronts, and faces the shadow with courage, the figure usually turns friendly. Finding wholeness begins with integrating the Shadow -- the repressed aspects of our personality. Through dreams, if you continue to work with them by writing them down and understanding them, you will find that it can speed up that integration, and ultimately healing process. If you would like help with your dreams, don't hesitate to reach out and we can work together on them. I hope you're doing well, I can understand the intensity you must have felt with such dreams. Understanding dreams is probably one of the most important things you can do for psychological balance, yet most overlook or ignore them.
@DreamAnalytica Spot on! I came to the same conclusion after months of deep introspective and reflection. The next impacting dream i had after my world was crushed, i dreamed being on a bridge seeing a man and a taller woman walking down the street, and the man sending me a text ɓut the only thing i could understand was "thank you", i suspect this was my shadow and animus. And the latest dream was seeing the same man carrying a new born baby on his back walking past me on the street. Thank you so much for your generous reply, it helps me a lot.
Interesting. I made a dream of a curly big old tree with branches who was back in ground for fusion with roots. Is that a meaning of something who can not progress maybe ? I know nothing about the meaning but I'm curious.
Hi, so this seems to be a significant dream, I would need more information to better understand your personal associations with the symbols, but if I were to generalize, trees usually represent life (tree of life). It could be that you need to go back to your "roots" or to reconnect with nature, the foundational roots of your being. This dream has very powerful symbolism: if you would like a better interpretation so that I can ask for more details about the dream, you can leave your info here and we can connect through Whatsapp - calendly.com/dreamanalytica/dream-analysis
Ok it's make a lot of sense because it's true I'm frustrated about how here in europa we are disconnect of our ancestor and lot of us even don't know who they was ... I will have a check to your link thank you for your reply ☺
Wow, you completely described my integration...I am able to finally make innovative products and see the project through to completion. I am finishing making parts that I designed and going to start my business selling them. Normally by now, I would have moved on and given up!
All of these are true, yet I spent most of my life beating myself up for being so different...well, after my parents spent much of my childhood doing the same. I am finally learning to see those tendencies as positive, but it sucks that so many people will put you down rather than admit you were right or had the better ideas.
Jung said in Psychological Types that learning of and honoring cognitive diversity was the way forward. I'm paraphrasing with terms he never used but that's what he said and it's true. Until we do we are making our groupings sick.
I love these videos! , i listen to them when i'm at the bus , your voice is really calm and clear and i just keep listening to the same video on repeat because of how nerve calming it is, very educational and easy to digest. Keep it up dude i want to say that've known you since day one and brag about it 🫡🫡
I actually really appreciate your feedback. I'm hoping, if my channel grows, that I'll be able to put more time and creativity into it as I'm making these videos during whatever spare time I have from my full time job. Thank you, and I will definitely consider it!
True. Mbti is a later development which included Turbulent and Assertive additions, but Mbti(16p) derived from Jungian Typology, or rather Jungian Psychological Types. Mbti sought to simplify Jungian concepts for the masses. I've included the link below for further elucidation: www.16personalities.com/articles/our-theory Excerpt: "Our approach has its roots in two different philosophies. One dates back to early 20th century and was the brainchild of Carl Gustav Jung, the father of analytical psychology. Jung’s theory of psychological types is perhaps the most influential creation in personality typology, and it has inspired a number of different theories. "
I'm interested in subscribing but it would be excellent to know who you are, at least a name. Can you kindly introduce yourself to us? I'd be so pleased to meet you. (Also, you might want to turn your mic up just a tad.) Thank you and the best of luck with your channel. The world needs all the Jung possible.
I really appreciate your kind words and feedback! I will most definitely apply what you have suggested. I completely forgot to introduce myself in this video as I was rather excited about this topic, but I have done so in other videos lol! My sincerest apologies for that! Thank you so much!
Hi @Nyuffykah! Thank you so much for your really great question! As a matter of fact, I think I will make a video entirely on the subject of Integration and some possible ways to go about it, since it's a subject all on its own! I will most certainly notify you when its uploaded, thank you again for that!
