I have a question and a point to make why did they change the movie from fair is fair to Legend of Billie Jean? I have no idea. Fair is fair is used throughout the movie Inwood seem like the natural name of the movie. Speaking of fair is fair Mr piatt was shot in the shoulder at the beginning of the movie and at the end of the movie Binks is shot in the shoulder. Fair is fair
I have included the actual location of where the Sonic used to be.. you guys were a little off.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6C-2OuQ4YAc.htmlfeature=shared
Is this house still within your family today or did you move on from here later on in life? I'd love to know where this house is located. Thanks to the sims games, i'm in to looking at stuff like this and seeing how places have changed over the years.
Glad you enjoyed the video! My parents lived in this house until I was in my mid-30s, but they've since moved away. The home is located in Richardson, Texas.
I used to work nights for the Lee Quigley company and my buddy and I were working downtown one night by the Wortham center and he was filming on top of a truck. Shooting scenes. Pulse at night they had the fake graffiti on the wall with black light and glow in the dark paint. It was awesome.
That's the Hyatt Regency Hotel, and it's still there. We visited that location in our season 2 video - here's a link if you want to see how it looks inside: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--6FpS0n83tA.htmlsi=sCoW34ov6v92mja4&t=38
I’m 22 years of age which makes me a 2001 baby, but I wish I was in the 80s where everything was just simpler and humans actually interacted. Social media has ruined everything.
I am impressed that they opted to use a Gemstick (yellow button) controller for this display...I own one, they are really solidly built old controllers! Also, the screen tinting is WAY off, the forest & grass in ET should be green, not yellow...LOL! Anyhow, I beat E.T. plenty if times, the pits aren't so bad once you figure out how best to deal with them. Also, helps a LOT to have the original instruction manual. I can think of more than a few games worse than E.T.-which mostly suffered because lack of developement time/strict deadline.
If there is an interest, there is a very good movie here on RU-vid, "A Killing in a Small Town" - starring Bryan Denehy and Barbara Hershey, about this case. I have watched it several times over the last 5 years or so. I believe it is very well done. I'd highly recommend it.
Candy should have gotten manslaughter. And not, walked away free. Whatever trauma she may have experienced at the age of four, to me it doesn't seem enough of an excuse for having killed Betty. I believe there a many, many people who've experienced worse traumas than Candy. But somehow they don't just snap one day, pick up an axe, and kill another person in self-defense. To me that's absurd. I don't understand how she was totally exonerated. Really a good show, you guys! Really enjoyed it! Thanks!
I live in the UK and i am in the middle of the series love and death .Thank you for this video i just cant believe she got away with this how can anyone use that axe over 4o times and still walk away 😮
Theres no analog waves anymore so portable TV won't pick up any signals here in the U.S. But I think there other places that still have Analog Signals like maybe the Philippines 🤷🏻♂️
Interesting! I remember wanting one of those portable TVs so badly back in the 80s... could've never imagined we'd have the equivalent in our pockets every day now!
I was born and raised in Corpus, I was in highschool when they were filming and watched them do all of the mall scenes at sunrise mall.. i had a friend named rex lee he drove he was the guy that drove the guys around pestering Billie jean he was the one who fell in the escalator waterfall. One Saturday tristar had the girls who wanted to be in the film come to the mall and get their hair cut for $50 and to be in the movie. It was fun seeing Chris slater, helen slater, Peter coyote, and all the rest running around the mall and seeing how it was all done. The marble scene was shot about eight times there was a golf cart with a camera on the back filming helen slater dropping the marbles. They had to sweep them up every take. At the end of everyday the director would say that's a wrap be here tomorrow morning wearing the same clothes😊😊 there's a lot more i could tell ya but im just babbling on.
Also the escalator scene when she was coming down there was a TriStar camera on a piece of plywood at the bottom filming he coming down then when the ran they cut and had a stunt double come run up and across the escalator for her. Back then she wasn't very friendly she would stay in her trailer a lot.
Oh wow, that's so interesting! Thank you for stopping by our channel and sharing your memories, how cool! It must've been such an exciting experience to watch those iconic mall scenes being filmed. Did you enjoy seeing the movie when it finally came out in theaters?
@@Our80sLife I did go see it the day it came out, definitely had to see the final product. Watching the truck flip on south Padre island drive just in my neighborhood. And when they filmed the beach scenes it was February and cold with all of those people in bikinis and swimming suits it was definitely different. But yeah I wasn't going to miss seeing the outcome so yeah I was there when it premiered.
So sorry... we got lazy and didn't film our "after" videos, but I will say that the plan worked for both of us. It's a bit difficult to maintain longterm though because the calories are quite restrictive.
Were you aware that The Romantics' Talking In Your Sleep was featured prominently in a recent horror film, Five Nights At Freddy's? As a devoted fan of all things hair metal, I collected and listened to a great many albums and tracks and still do that remain relatively unknown. Dokken's Under Lock and Key is great from starting track all the way to the end, for instance. Stryper and Def Leppard are still putting out great material. Thanks for introducing me to the Spotify AI DJ!
No we weren't, but that's great! We haven't seen that movie, but I've heard good things about it... we should add it to our list for Spooky Season! Glad you're enjoying the Spotify DJ - we think it's a fun feature. And guess what?? We will be seeing Dokken perform on The 80s Cruise next year! I'm not very familiar with their music, so I'll definitely start by checking out the album you recommended. Thanks!!
@@Our80sLife Yes I know. I missed every prior convention so going to this. The only DALLAS cast member I have ever met was Debra Renard and she was on stage at Sopranos Con with her friend Al Sapienza back in 2019.
I really enjoyed this. I could never have patience to put something like this together though. It looks like a real game. I love you guys and that 80s room is incredible. You guys always go ALL IN with 80s stuff. Its just not a special interest you have, its an obsession 😁
That looks so awesome!!! Kinda reminds me of my Pac-Man Mini Arcade Game that I got from a friend of mine as a Christmas Present. You know I kinda knew that the creator got the idea from a missing slice of pizza!!!
Ya'll really like the eighties? I would have never guessed by seeing your background. LOL I really like the design of the room. Have a room tour video? You guys got me. I thought you were going to do some Ferris Bueller sickness thing.
That was amazing,I’ve never seen anything like that before! The movement was a big surprise. I’ll get the pac man erasers in the mail very soon,as I’m going on a week off,and will make it to the PO
