@@garydonnelly8337 no I didn't sell it . I'll probably keep it for a very long time because it's very very rare to dig up gold coins while metal detecting. All the best. Joe
Cheersbro! And congratulations!! Sweet find maaaaan!!!! Big support from southern European metaldetecting couple.. New friends and subs.. Happy hunting!!!!!!!!!
Yeah I hunted all types of parks in Allegheny County without any problems found a bunch of silver coins and some gold rings along the way but most parks are pretty pounded out that there's always a few goodies to be found amongst the trash. Best of luck. Joe.
I know NOBODYS gonna believe this! Just watched two of your videos yesterday. And I remembered what you were saying about bdi’s for gold and had an odd ping last night right as I was going inside and decided to dig it. I very decent sized diamond ring! I almost had a heart attack when my eyes adjusted in the dark! It was a solid 21
Very cool and helpful video man I’ve only had my vanquish for 40 for like three days now and I’m going gold crazy lol no but it’s funny. My wife tells me not to get discouraged and I tell her I could go out and do this all day every day come home with nothing and I’ll still go back out the next day and do it all over again lol, but I’ve been wondering about the beady eyes so that helped me tremendously. Thank you.
Good video i like the vanquish and it will punch deep , but i hate the ID scale being this short due to the fact that on other machines i have a much better clue to what im digging up with a id scale of like 1-99. I keep my user profile from 24-up if im in a real trashy area and just wanna not dig everything and look for silver coins/big silver rings.
I live in England i have a 340 love it thanks for all the I'd numbers has IAM starting out again since 1983 when i was a young lad i found a gold crocodile the first week i went out it's from a charm bracelet hopefully a gold coin or two soon thanks again
Aww man, all these numbers matches with aluminum vodka caps and foil from cigarette packs which is in every place on western Europe... I probably left quite some good stuff as I dug only solid 10-11 and 30-40
Thanks. Life has been crazy busy. Hopefully I can find the time to do some filming again. Check out @ The Copper poppers . Sometimes I'm out with them. All the best. Joe.
The last video you had on copper poppers was excellent!! I was hoping to see more of you there! Straight up tho, in my opinion this is the best metal detecting channel EVER. We hope you decide to bring the magic back to this channel ✌😎
No Vanquish updates as far as I heard. I'm sure the only thing Minelab is focusing on right now is the new Manticore and the Equinox 700 and 900. I remember when the CTX 3030 came out and they said it was updatable but then still to this day no update has ever been released.. it's possible in the future Minelab might put out an update for the Vanquish or other machines but we'll see. All the best. Joe.
The more history a spot has betters ur chances on finding lost goodies. The best places to try to get permission to hunt is where anyone gathered 100 years ago. Old churches, houses, parks ,schools . All the best. Joe.
No I do not. I've never hunted that area before. If you find any public places to hunt that you're not sure how old it is you can use a website called historic Aerials.com
Thanks . It must be all metal mode that way we can find the deepest metals. Doesn't make sense. The timer the metal de higher number you get the thin metal then lower number you get . We just have to get a metal detector that detector everything and we dig everything whit out be waiting time watching the screen. .
Thanks for watching. All sizes of gold coin would be different, but the 5$ gold I found hits a 21 on the Nox 800 and Vanquish 540. Also a friend's 10$ gold coin hits a 22. All the best. Joe.
Well…….after watching this video, I have to go back and redo everything I have done for the last two years at the old golf course. 😂😂 Thank You for your help 👍🏽
