Thanks mark! You never know what's going to come up out of the ground in a Pittsburgh Park. I sent you a package the other day I hope you got it. Best of luck. HH. JOE.
Always good to watch friends out there killing it. Congratulations to Puke on a bucket Lister, and Joe the schenley golf permit was pretty awesome. If you guys have time maybe I'll bust out the AT Pro this weekend
Congrats to Dave! Seated is awesome! I’ll let you know if I can get out at all this weekend. I have some work to get done around the house. Will let you know!
Thanks Stiv! It's crazy how these parts keep producing when they've been metal detective over and over by hundreds if not thousands of people over the last how many years. I'm going to keep going until I get skunked every time. Best of luck my friend. HH. JOE.
Thanks richie! I wish I could have filmed everything when Dave pulled that seated, he tosses his shovel was swearing and freaking out. I enjoyed watching him. Nothing like getting sat down for the first time. Best of luck. HH. JOE.
Congrats on your 1917 Merc, I was rooting for you for your Merc to be an oldie 👍 Congrats to Dave for finding his first Seated Dime 🎉 Two really good hunts!!
Awe man. That skeleton key is awesome. Looks like it would have been the kind for my great grandpa's Secretary desk. It has long ago been lost and I am sure their is no way of finding a replacement but yours sure looks like what I imagine it would have looked like. Great find.
Congrats to your friend for finding the Seated Liberty dime. In the condition it's in, value is between $5-10. If it was the San Francisco version, you would be looking at 10x that value.
LOL I'm loving this weather, if the ground don't freeze I can keep diggin. The tag end up being a Schenley Park Golf Course permit, but definitely similar shape to a couple old dog tags that I have found in the past. Best of luck. HH. JOE.
The best way to get out the detecting in a good spot is to find an area that is a hundred years old or older for instance old schools old churches old parks or you could Door knock and try to get permission from home owners that own old houses and properties. If you have a place in mind in your not sure how old it is you can use a website called historic Aerials.com. there's aerial maps and topo maps once you type in a destination. All the best & best of luck. Joe.
Nice day of digging Joe. Man for some reason your comment on my video disappears and hen I go to hit it to comment back to you. Just wanted you to know I wasn’t ignoring your comment.
