You want airsoft equipment that is really worth the money? That takes your game to the next level and does make a noticeable difference? You've come to the right place! On my channel, I only recommend products that offer you as a player significant added value on the field, but also tell you what you better should stay away from - exactly the guide I would have liked to have myself when I started playing airsoft back in 2016. Whether it's tuning parts, protective equipment, clothing or some certain good replicas: I'll tell you more about the really good stuff here. The whole experience gets completed with exciting gameplays, high-quality tuning projects and helpful tips and tricks for your airsoft game. Have a good one!
I completely get what you mean. Especially on commercial fields, i experienced the marshalls being veery strict on energy limits. Thats why I made this video, to raise awareness that there is no 100% exact measurement with those kind of chronos - and to prepare everyone for potential problems that could result from it. Good thing: Only a little less energy on your replica than allowed max. can help to avoid problems on the field (e.g. 0.1 J less). Have a good one!
The angle of bb going through the 2 sensors also make a difference result Ideally you should chrono the replica perpendicular to the chronograph, if you angle a bit the replica, the reading will decrease
@@rummboltI believe the reason behind why each chronograph have different readings is the assemble process, they use the same program in their chrono but through the assembly, length between the sensors may not the same, resulting different outcome (E.g. Program set distance between 2 sensors is 1, but in chrono 1 the sensors distancing can actually be 1.1 and chrono 2 can be 1.2)
Yep, good way to handle it! It also helps to "know" wether your chrono performs more like on the "higher" or "lower" end, so you have some kind of reference to the average chrono outputs on your replicas :)
It is an interesting point, we did a test a few years ago with 5 different chrono's using different color bbs. There is a whole spreadsheet with that information. The chrono part is in stand 3, The picture is a summary about that. We tested different rifles and even shotguns to see if they would work. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lRx_FsoNqieMfNR_MV2BcU0Tb-Qcd95f/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=108837449879006798743&rtpof=true&sd=true
Alle hatten komische Werte muss man dazu sagen 😅
I think this issue might have caused my rif to be classed as hot at a game last week. It's recently been sorted by a tec and was running perfectly at the previous game days. I thought it was my fault for moving up to heavier bbs, but I remember using two different chronos at the same site previously and I failed the first, but passed the second. Will test it against mine again tomorrow and and a friend's and try and work out the difference in joules, instead of just looking at fps. Would you ever recommend taking a chrono to a game site and testing it yourself just before trying theirs? Thanks for the vid!
Joules is always a combination of BB weight and BB Speed, FPS is only the speed. Thats why Joules in my opinion is the more usefull variable to focus on :) However, i take a chrono with me every gameday, yes. Be it if i need to make short term adjustments or just to borrow it to a friend - it comes in handy very often. Have a good one!
It´s a nice chrono - but I´m sure when you but three of those against each other, each one will tell you slightly different output measurements as well. Those chronos are basically all china made and suffer from low quality control standards - i think this is why they have such a high deviation. Have a good one!
@@davidfrear7 Hello there! I never tried, but i assume when you find googles with enough space for glasses underneath - for example Begadi Cp1 - it could work :)
@@rummbolt if I wear my fast helmet with bolle x800 (which are really short in vertical dimension), there is not enough space for tubes. however i will try norvitch anti fog unit and try myself
Do you know if the lens is replaceable? I know their older cams had the ability to unscrew the lens so you can put in a longer distance lens. (25mm to 40mm)
@@Acemans I do not think its meant to do so, but I never disassembled the camera. So i can't tell after all. Maybe someone of the other viewers can help here :)
Last time I was at a game, someone got shot and bled from the eyeball, thanks to an eyeprotection bought from aliexpress. You can buy from China. But if you buy locally, you contribute to the local economy. People will have jobs, get paid, item and payment taxed locally goes towards for your country's budget where they use it to upkeep your local hospitals, fire department and law enforcement. And armed forces, so you don't get bullied and/or invaded by another country. "One purchase doesn't matter" - said 10 million people.
@@mikelondres3874 Hi, thanks for your comment. Unfortunately, i can not tell because i never did more disassembly than removing the battery :/ But maybe some of the other viewers can help here :) Have a good one!
@@DrZirta Hi and thanks for you comment. I never opened a cyma like your, but a mosfet or even etu makes things a lot easier. Without, finding the correct combination of spring, motor and battery can be harder because you need the right cycle timing for semi. Active break mosfets and cycle detection etus can help here. Have a good one!
@@rummbolt hey thanks for the quick reply! This is my first foray into AEG modding so I’m a bit clueless! Can you recommend any affordable mosfet / etus? And did you use one here? :)
@@DrZirta in this particular case, i do not use any mosfet. But its a little advanced. If i were you, i would ask an experienced airsoft tech to do the first project built together. Or try it with an older replica you do not play very often. Chances are not low you could mess up the timing. Also, etu installation requires some experience. The easiest in my eyes would be a gate aster or maybe an ASCU. But also here: do your first steps in teching together with someone experienced - results AND learning will be best then in my eyes. Have a good one!
@@kavenlesterababa hey hey, thanks for the comment :) I'm using multiple cameras - 40mm for bolt action sniping and 25mm on assault rifle distance. And also a headcam for sure ☺️ have a good one!
@@marchungus2088 sorry i can't comment on this, as i have not had those goggles in my hands yet - to give reliable advice, this should have been the case before at least once. But maybe some of the other viewers can comment on this? :)
@@rummbolt Thank you for the lighting fast response! Do the goggles have to be fully sealed for proper function? As the Evaders has 12 small holes in it.
@@marchungus2088 Haha no probleml, just got a message about your comment on the smartphone :) I think, ventilation holes should be no problem. With the Begadi Cp1, they work quite well - and those have looots of vent openings :D
i have a bolt action but play in italy where all replicas are limited to 1 joule. do you think 25mm would be ok? im afraid most of the shots would be unusable with the 40mm
@@stanitzy8808 probably yes, i would go with the 25mm version then. Also, i would step away from bolt action when youre limited to 1j - but thats your choice how course :) Have a good time with your camera!
@@rummbolt i thought that too, but you know what i actually enjoy it. it was a gift and i wasn't so sure but after a couple of games i had a lot of fun. it's quite difficult as you gotta concentrate your whole gameplay in not being seen and i'm not that good tbh but it's fun. anyways, thank you! i'll probably use the scopecam both on my m24 and m4
@@stanitzy8808 as long as you enjoy it - of course, keep it going! Every hit you do with it must be feeling extra special, i imagine 😁 have a good time on the field!
@@atashli Hello there! I did not have it on mine, but unfortunately, some other users report the same in the comments. Maybe one of them knows a solution? I even wonder why mine seemed to be alright though ...
Hi, can you help me ? I got the camera but when i turn it on with an sd card inserted the red light keep blinking fast and when i connect the camera to watch the footage it hasn t registered nothing and the sd card is empty. I tryed to change 3 sd card but no result, i tryed update the camera firmware but is already the last version; i don t know what to do. Do you have Ideas or it happen to yourself too?
@@mariocasiraghi8505 I'm sorry, i do not have experienced this issue by myself. Maybe, some of the other viewers or the Runcam Customer Support can help here :)
I have novritsch ones, and no problem, but the magic comes with the antifog unit, i use this unit in all my goggles that can be mounted on, from 10€ cheap backup ones to Dye mask, and the result is that you dont need great goggles, just the antifog unit hahaha, i live in a place with 90% humidity most of the year early morning dense fogs even during summer... i know what im talking about when it comes to fogging... But something i do like about the pyramex (novritsch) goggles is that besides being "big" and give a lot of protection for your face, they are slim, i can see my belly ^^, they dont protude too much, so you can see your plate carrier with ease and look down pretty easy something that i struggle a lot with bigger goggles like the begadi ones and such, even harder when im using nose and face protection and you cannot look down because the frame of the goggles is in the way and the mask is pushing the goggles up XD
@@fubene5495 thanks for sharing your experience that detailed - i'm sure many other viewers may be thankful as well :) i use the antifog unit myself, a very useful gadget. In my personal opinion, every new airsoft player should consider to use one!
@@rummbolt probably a miniscule amount. Though it will most likely be blocked by hair/ helmet etc. Just got my own CP1 and i have to say that airflow is really great. Moving already pushes enough air through the holes that it should prevent a lot of fogging. My only concern about the mask is, that you need to have a giant honker of a nose to really have a full seal. Wearing the mask i could easily push my pinky finker through the gaps at the nose. So using the faceguard or a face mesh that also covers the nose is a must in my opinion. Or maybe i will 3D print an insert to cover the gaps. Great review btw
@@-Syke I totally agree with the ventilation thing!! But my nose is average size i guess and i still feel quite well protected. Probably it's also a question of overall facial anatomy Ah, and thank you for the props for my review - always appreciated :) have a good one!

i got the novrisch googles and i do use a malaclava with mouth and nose protection, it is a little bit more tight then low profile googles, but usable :)
@@rummbolt bro, i have bought and gone through so many goggles looking for ones that work best with my glasses. hell no im getting contacts or goggle inserts as they are too expensive. CP1 goggles with the glasses lenses just works. I recommend them to any glasses wearing player I meet.
I got the CP1 for CQB K2B, i weight 127kg and i´m 1,77m tall, while playing the whole day in K2B the goggles never fogged up on me and i sweat a lot, when we had Breaktime i put them on the side and than they fogged up BUT from the outside. Lendedthem to a Friend who started with Airsoft and we were playing in Ginzlin the Game, woodland, and he said they never fogged up and if they defogged really fast.
I use the novritsch one since 4y, every year a new one 😊 not bcs of fogging! Just bcs of hits and scratches.. I modify the frame, cut out on top and on the bottom, also on the side like the Begadi ones….. never had any fogging at all and I use a ghillie suit. Also when playing in there rain
Hm, my lens did not get too many scratches in the last year, only one minor one in the center. It's to early to comment on the lens durability of the CP 1 for me, but the installation of the qntifog unit adapter should be no problem i think!
Hey hey, thanks for you comment! My Novrtisch Goggles are still in pretty good condition after one year of use, but i try to handle them with care. The Ventilation System als can be applied to the CP1, maybe you have to grind down some of the upper side rubber because it´s a little more thick than on the Novritsch ones. On the durability of the CP1 Lenses, i can not comments, because I just do not own them long enough. But the first impression seems good to me :) Have a good one!
@@thecoiltutoriales5238 Sure! Wanted to reply even earlier, but my phone did not allow somehow... better late than never :D Wish you lots of fun (and safety!) with your new goggles!
The description of your problem is not very specific, so it could be caused by several reasons. Empty Battery? No SD card inserted? SD Card full or broken? Defective Camera? Maybe it´s one of those reasons :)
@@AirsoftTipsandReviews It´s 30€ for the ticket. Additionally, you pay 5€ on your first gameday to get the bracelet which enables you to interact with the capture points and the spawn station :)

Thanks mate! The "game mode system" and the objectives are thought out well and the technology behind it works amazing. Such a shame it´s so far away from my place :P
Nice video! Bought mine a few weeks ago, and ran into an issue with the battery being stuck inside. How did you guys manage to remove it? Planning to replace the battery but I cant find a way to remove it without breaking the thing. Thank you!!
You need to give it a certain "hit"/impact (but not too heavy in order not to damage the camera!) Mine was stuck, too, thats why i damaged the insulation. But you can et it out this way :)
Anyone else having problem getting the battery out? I just bought one (with extra batteries) but when I tried to remove the battery I noticed it is stuck in there..
