Very nice video. Could you tell me how high is this camera when mounted? Like from the top of the rail to the top of the camera. I am thinking about buying it, but I am afraid that it will obscure view from my lpvo
Thanks for your comment :) Unfortunately I can not tell because I do not own the Camera anymore. But it depends on the mounting ring you use, I guess. In case it gets in the way of the LPVO, you can also mount it to the side rails. Only "issue" then would be BBs flying into the video-picture from the right / left. But thats something you probably can deal with :) Have a good one!
I eneded up getting it thanks to your review however i did find it having trouble staying powered on when using the app. It seems to power completely off after 5 seconds of being connected to the app. Im not sure if this is a firmware issue or a camera issue. Have tou had problems connecting to the app?
@@Acemans Hey, unfortunately i can not help here. Never experienced this issue before. In all my testing, connecting to the app went absolutely fine (just as it does with all the Runcam cams i used before). But sounds like your firmware could be faulty. Maybe the Runcam support can help? All the best to you, hope you will be able to fix it soon!
@@rummbolt maybe just bad luck, I'll see if I can fix it if not I'll get an exchange. I'm really hoping this works out that clip capture feature sounds like an amazing tool to cut back on editing.
I just purchased scopecam se. I played my first game, but i encountered the following problem: the camera was in flashback mode, the resolution was set at 1080p 60 fps, bat all the clips have a resolution of 360p (640*360 px) and not 1080p (1920*1080 px). Do you know why is this happening, and if i can change that somehow?
Hello, the new RunCam models record your footage "double", once in lower resolution for previews etc, and one in original resolution. Make sure to open the file with the "M" in the name - this one is the regular resolution. The "S"-File is the "compressed" one. Hope this helped you out - have a good one!
@@rummbolt thanks for the reply. I went to the app, but the only media that are saved are the ones with the "S". The "M" videos are nowhere to be found. Do you know why is this happening??
@@mixalisxristodoulou2241 Hm. Maybe there is some faulty preset in the "video quality" tab on the app? Actually i never saw a Runcam only recording the S-Files...strange :/ hope you will find a solution soon!
@@mixalisxristodoulou2241 Probably thats what the S-Ones are made for - just to give you a preview on the smartphone. Glad you also found the higher resolutiion ones!
i have a bolt action but play in italy where all replicas are limited to 1 joule. do you think 25mm would be ok? im afraid most of the shots would be unusable with the 40mm
@@stanAurora probably yes, i would go with the 25mm version then. Also, i would step away from bolt action when youre limited to 1j - but thats your choice how course :) Have a good time with your camera!
@@rummbolt i thought that too, but you know what i actually enjoy it. it was a gift and i wasn't so sure but after a couple of games i had a lot of fun. it's quite difficult as you gotta concentrate your whole gameplay in not being seen and i'm not that good tbh but it's fun. anyways, thank you! i'll probably use the scopecam both on my m24 and m4
@@stanAurora as long as you enjoy it - of course, keep it going! Every hit you do with it must be feeling extra special, i imagine 😁 have a good time on the field!
Do you know if the lens is replaceable? I know their older cams had the ability to unscrew the lens so you can put in a longer distance lens. (25mm to 40mm)
@@Acemans I do not think its meant to do so, but I never disassembled the camera. So i can't tell after all. Maybe someone of the other viewers can help here :)
Hello there, unfortunately, I can not comment on this kind of firearm. Are we talking about real steel? No experience with those, I´m sorry. Also, Google translate is not very precise here i think. Have a great weekend!
It is always a matter of light, distance and background colors. On 40mm, it will be a bit larger after all, but also the image will be a little more "shaky". I recommend 25mm for AEG/GBB and 40mm for Sniper / Bold Action / DMR.
@@kavenlesterababa hey hey, thanks for the comment :) I'm using multiple cameras - 40mm for bolt action sniping and 25mm on assault rifle distance. And also a headcam for sure ☺️ have a good one!
Don´t know if this was translated correctly by RU-vid... But after a certain distance, every BB will fall to the ground, even with the best hop up system. Just because of gravity :D
