I had my MRI yesterday and I was crying throughout the whole process. The moment the process started I got panic attack. My heartbeat was fast I was so afraid
nice! i know graphite is definitely much higher resistance than other conductors, but if the voltage is high enough, this doesn't matter :) graphite is also used for the rotor in power plant generators since they have electromagnets in both the stator and the rotor.
Remember people if you’re getting your lower half done you do not have to put your head inside the circular part. They won’t tell you this, but you have to ask them if you can switch direction that you’re laying in. Why they have to make it so freaking absolutely claustrophobic if you’re not getting anything done to your upper extremities.
Do you think with today’s technology you all can make these machines not make so much damn sound here in the US. I bet China’s working on one or already has one that doesn’t feel like you’re getting your brain jackhammered
Imagine having a nerdy voice! Absolutely awesome! I wish I was a nerd! You remind me of Sheldon Cooper off of Big Bang Theory because you are so nerdy! Lol
i am a klaustrophobic person but when i get inside of that machine i got an intense bliss and relaxation. these sounds gave me relief that they almost feels like a music
I love MRI scanner. Can’t explain that but as soon as I hear their sounds, I feel connected with them. Specially with the breathing sound of the coldhead. I love laying inside a MRI scanner. It feels so cozy. I can totally relax there. Actually more than in my bed. That all is so very strange 🤔🤔🫣
Oh great. Instead of a coffin-like tube, they will just enter you into a gigantic rotating blade. 😱‼️ Kidding of course. I know and sincerely appreciate what these machines do for us. I will be so happy when someone designs a scanner that looks like a bedroom with a fluffy bed you can just lay down on. ..for like one minute.
