Artists are fascinating, aren't they? And by ARTist I mean any Creative person, any painter, any singer, any dancer, writer, poet, actor and ....
They are inherently built to challenge the established rules, and set their own. They contradict not only the outside world but themselves, as Walt Whitman said; they are large, they contain multitudes!
In a world where AI seems so close to acquire that peculiar identity which we define as I, people with fine imagination will always be the ones more in touch with whatever it is that makes us HUMAN.
What I want to see, and hopefully show you in these interviews , is that unique human; that creative, conscious being, … that I, The Artist.
Makes complete sense! Big corporate cinemas only show blockbuster films. We need to get together every now and then to watch more interesting movies, and it can’t always be at home. We need community cinemas 👍
I love Susan's creations and have followed her journey and admired her work for a long time, so I really enjoyed watching this interview and having a wonderful insight into Susan's background and hearing about her wonderful mum's creativity and floristry business.
Ohmygoodness you have given me goosebumps again I could listen to the stories you capture forever I listen and i am privileged to share the life lessons of your creatives The way you edit and piece together the story with the music is honestly magical Do you know how good you are 😁🙏🏽
Thank you so much. The main thing is that the stories are sincere and honest. I'm lucky amazing people such as you and Sylvain trust me in the first place. 🌹🌹🌹
What a gorgeous, humble person, so talented and so productive. It was a real pleasure to watch this little film and see her beautiful lettering and illustrations. Thank you!
I think artists are the lucky ones they just have different eyes and different souls I do believe that and Ziba you are a true artist thank you for capturing these stories because otherwise they would not be shared 🙏🏽
My dear Cathie, you've been an amazing support. I consider myself lucky for coming to the shop the day I met you and for you agreeing to share your story ❤
Great interview! I happen to be going thru a similar journey…from career in the military to establishing my own creative outlet as an artist. Thanks for the inspiration. Salute
I've been told RU-vid clips should be exciting and fast and full of bang bang to be seen more 😉💥 But I'm ok with slow and calm. And it's enough for me that people like Cathie enjoy watching them😊
I have been binge watching Liz Chaderton videos, and finding how to do watercolor painting really beginning to click for me. She is a wonderful artist. So nice to hear her own story.
Thank you for producing this short documentary about Graham Ziba. I have known Graham for a long time, but I was unaware of these details of his life. Now, I feel that I know him a little better. Very grateful!
When I think about the impact Nina has had on the HIV patients and young offenders, I can't help but realize how our own suffering can lead us to support others in theirs. The memories, lessons and caring of "Miss" that individuals must have taken away from their interaction with Nina - just WOW!!
Thank you for introducing me to Liz Chaderton. I am a beginning watercolor painter who loves animals and instantly fell in love with Liz's work when I saw her wonderful runner ducks painting in this video. She painted the ducks so vividly I could almost see them running across the page. I will definitely be looking for her watercolor books.
