I thought that releasing the decompression is supposed to be slow to reduce the risk of injury. This seems to snap back rather fast when releasing the lever from decompression. Could it be harmful to release from the decompression state fast like that or is it still safe with a quick release like that?
Great info Doctor and the decompression bench looks awesome. I already have a bench but I need the inversion belt. It's unfortunate that the international shipping costs about the same as the actual belt. Is there anyway you could ship it using a a cheaper service even if it takes longer to get here? It looks like the belt doesnt take much space or weighs much. The shipping shouldn't be so high in my opinion since other items I've purchased of about the same size and weight 5-10 lbs doesn't cost even half of what the website is showing for international shipping. Could you please investigate if it can be sent through a cheaper service by looking at different shipping carrier options, and get the exact cost given by them to ship it? I really need the belt but I can't pay $150 for shipping when the belt is already close to $187. Any help with this is greatly appreciated Doc. Thank you.
They don’t mention that this is not cover by insurance and each session is approximately $300 dollars and if you have sciatica you’ll need at least 10 sessions which will come out to $3000 dollars! Is better to buy an inversion table and just hang upside everyday for 5 to 10 minutes and you’ll get the exact same results without breaking the bank
No way, that release (at 2:03) would result in recoil translating into your spine and discs. This most likely would cause even more injury than what you had before trying out this procedure. That table made cringe when I saw the snap release.
In general it works however I encourage to not do it without and MRI and a doctor’s approval. For some people it could actually make things way more worse.
Most of these type of products don't cater for tall people,i have bought alot of different type products, which seems really great but when time to use it,i can't fit, that's the only down side
