I see that you have some green tape over the focus ring. I'm having issues with my Canon RF 400mm f2.8 lens going out of focus. I'm shooting in servo mode-auto focus (using back button focus). Periodically my camera goes way out of focus and the only way for me to regain focus is to turn the focus switch on the lens from AF to manual - refocus - then turn the switch back to AF. There are AF buttons on the 400mm lens, an I accidently turning off auto focus by pressing one of these AF buttons??

Whenever I export using the premiere pro method only one image shows. It seems like something is off with my frame rate. Any ideas someone?

G'day Billie. Thanks for the videos mate, been watching for a while, but backtracking over some of your older ones. I use a similar system, but have not been backing up to PhotoShelter, which I do use. So will start doing that now. I shoot a lot of sport here in Aus, with our NRL rugby league being a main one. Couple of questions. I like to rename all my files using PM on ingest. Would this make it easier for you to find images if you are looking for them down track? Files in both your 'Edits' & 'Full' folder would then be the same, rather than one lot having the new name and the other having the generic DSC... etc ????? Secondly, I noticed you are dropping that folder into your PhotoShelter acct under the 'listed on website'. So all of these images ae visible to everyone and are you selling them, or are you 'locking' those images up in like a 'view only' mode? I generally save all my pix under the 'unlisted on website' tab. Maybe I'm missing something here or not using it to my advantage. Your thoughts? or anyone else give advice on this? For anyone wondering how well this lens will shoot with the Canon R3, I can tell you It is absolutely a joy. I matched it with my Canon R3 and I haven't had any issues, and it gives the full 30 frames per second in auto focus. It really makes me wonder if I need to still purchase the Canon RF 100-300mm f/2.8

Noticed the 18-400 is really an 18-200. Probably because of focus breathing but it doesn’t give you a full 400. Will be nice to see sample pictures of both lenses at 400mm and see the difference in field of view.

A 6min video with 100% great information! I have a 4 year old son so am just getting into sports photographer. Thinking about the background makes so much sense. Also taking photos to tell a story is something that I never thought of and would just go for action. I think this is one of the best photography videos I've watched in ages

I have the non os version of this lens and the Zoom ring on it is super smooth. I picked it up for a bargain price used from a friend who was getting rid of all his Nikon gear and moving to Panasonic. It's so large that I don't use it all the time but even the older version of this lens is superb. I'm using it with a D810.

I adjust camera raw in bridge. I can edit/adjust .jpg (I shot by mistake!) but they don't seem to save/appear with the changes? The changes appear in bridge when I click "DONE" editing in cameras raw. But if I put the edited photos online they are the original JPG? any ideas?

I mostly shot weddings and concerts, but never sports.... if I use a 1DX-i and a 70-200 2.8 for sports, do you recomend shooting with a 2x extender, or is it better to shoot clean lens and crop instead do you think?
