It would seem my LG 32GK650F VA panel is able to differentiate the black smearing test. This is excellent to see as it gets all the benefits of low contrast, accurate colors, and its cheap. Pretty jazzed!
Sorry but that viewsonic VA panel seems particularly lousy. Especially that text comparison. How much does that one cost? Did I get lucky? My LG in comparison darkens only a touch.
I bought a 27 inch 1800R monitor earlier this year and I would never want to go back to a flat one for that size or larger. Having said that, the modest 1800R curve is enough for me at that size and I wouldn't want a smaller radius. But my guess is that the larger I would go, the lower the radius I would be comfortable with.
I'm considering a review of my $60K portfolio allocations, particularly in light of the pause in interest rate hikes. I'm eyeing some high-risk, high-reward opportunities. Crypto and emerging markets seem intriguing. Anyone else exploring these?
glad this is getting attention, ive noticed the lifespan is dropping off fast with daily use. Very concerning - My old bose 45s battery lasted years. Ive noticed this drop after only about 10 months
isnt there a grading for panels?, LG one seems pretty high end and the viewsonic seems like a budget option. basically this VA pannel is a very mediocre compared to better ones. you end up comparing a good unit of an IPS and a mid-range option for a VA. VA are supposed be better for response than IPS. its better to look into that. i only noticed the black smering on a VA when using advanced and ultrafast response time modes (also cheap viewsonic) while IPS has a lot of ghosting aside from blacks.
if you're looking at your phone and not filming/recording it like here the 60hz doesn't stutter. Im using pixel 4a now and nothing is stuttering, it looks smooth like your video of 120hz. you do realize we're all looking at it through your cameras' point of view? just like in movies where you can see the lines scrolling on tube TV's but not IRL. Im surprised with all your knowledge you're putting out there that you're not taking this into consideration.
Thanks for the analysis! 🔍 Just a small off-topic question: 😅 I have these words 🤨. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). What should I do with this? 🤷♂️
Short story All my life I had ips bought semi expensive va in 2024, god why!!! (honestly baited into that bs by youtube and my own stupidity never trust in va NEVER) sold it and got oled, zen for few months/year if you have to and get oled, your eyes will thank you, godspeed
Recently I changed my VA monitor with and IPS and shortly after I got an OLED and this much is clear. Black levels on VA in not worth it and blacklight bleed on IPS is only annoying when you are playing a dark game or scene. For example I spent so much time playing Alan Wake 2 this year and this game is one of the reason I bought an OLED. OLED is the clear winner and in terms of response time and viewing rich colors (other than inky blacks) IPS is very good for its price. I hope mass production OLED will gain traction and they will get cheaper and we will have access to more option. On side note I also tried Alan Wake 2 on CRT and it also looked pretty nice (not as good as oled obviously but, definitely it felt the smoothest experience.)
Hello! I have a weird issue that my Mousewheel-click sometimes doesnt registers or clicks 5 times in a row. Could this also fix my issue or is it likely a different part?
looked at a few other videos and was getting no where. in 3 minutes or less you had me set up and working. super helpful super easy instructions thanks!
Great analysis, thank you! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (air carpet target dish off jeans toilet sweet piano spoil fruit essay). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
It's actually a smart move to get help from experts when you're starting to build your financial portfolio. It can be quite complex, so seeking professional guidance is a great idea.
I am so disappointed having dimming issues on my "premium" sony tv ips panel and wanted to switch to samsung VA until I watched your video. I guess OLED is only one choice for those who are unsatisfied with IPS.
I extended the display and it shows 2 displays. But when I drag, say a word doc icon across to the HDMI display, it appears but when I click to open it it open up on my laptop not the HDMI display. Also when I click sense displays on my laptop is says it can't find additional displays. Can you help??
the problem is that when i extend the displays it shows if i want to revert or keep the changes but my mouse switches to just one display and i cant move it to the other and it just automatically reverts
