luisgotgli alright? I have a car similar to yours, I wanted to know from you if you noticed any performance gains and if the delay lag on the accelerator pedal is gone? Here I just closed those rips on the Mufler Delete and mounted the original and I could notice an absurd difference in the output and resume at low accelerations and with the pedal at 100% pressed. The consumption keeps on the road at 14 to 15 km/l on the road at 100 to 120 km/h and driving in the city I got from 10 to 12.5 km/l in traffic go and stop, go and stop... Now the biggest concern it's with the change of Intake and sports filter, here the oil temperature remained in transit in the city was 96º degrees....
What tune are What tune are you running?. I live in utah I don't have 93 octane higher elevation,, and I need a tune to run the 3" catted dp and air intake and dump valve. So I need some knowledge to run which tune so I can use 91 octane
Wow this is more or less the same exact setup Im going for this upcoming Friday. I didn't get a magnaflow resonator but did get a regular off the shelf res and high 400 cell dp with some o2 bungs.
THANK YOU! I've been searching for a sound video for the 1.8 with this resonator on every forum possible! Sounds great! I think for my Passat I'll do this resonator and replace the back muffler with an oval magnaflow to quiet it just a little and it will be perfect for me!
It just leaks after 4K rpm bc it’s not built to handle as much boost as it’s holding. The whistle is the boost leaking. Aka oem dv are very prone to leak
