Hey there! I’m from the U.S., and I love sharing tips, tricks, and advice on how to travel the world on a budget. I’ll help you navigate different countries, understand visa laws, get familiar with local customs, and just make traveling easier overall.
So far, I’ve visited 19 countries, and my goal is to hit at least 100. Let’s explore the world together! 🌍✈️
@@DanielAdisi-ps6wq you read my mind very soon I'm going to do a more higher Budget hotel. So be on the lookout for that that's probably going to be my next hotel style video. 👍👍
I think you can kind of see on the one video where the construction was outside down the road a bit, when I shut the door a lot of the noise disappeared. So I think as long as you make sure there's no construction outside your building a really close by you should be good.
Great vid. Gets me going in the right direction. Will be booking a consult after I narrow down a few others I've been looking at for a comparison. Still need that "Coming to Da Nang" checklist though to make sure I don't leave anything important at home.😂
I'm trying to work around the clock. The channel and all the editing has me racing around the clock. 🤣 I'm actually going to try to get out a new video very shortly about a little more higher priced hotels also.
@@Willtravelz yeah keep putting in that work. It's paying off already even though it's not where you need it to be. Get more of these vids out regularly and you'll see the fruits of your labor start to compound even more. Look where you were a month ago and where you're at now. Subs and views start to increase much more the bigger you get. Will be booking my flight tonight. I'm so close I can taste Bahn Mis right now.
I've stayed at the first one in the one bedroom and the studio that's why I really wanted to show you guys that one since I personally stayed there before.
I stayed in Pandora a few months ok, it was pretty good. I'm surprised you didn't consider the Grand Sea View hotel, I stayed there for 6 weeks, probably the best hotel I've stayed in so far. My next hotel is called Yen Ve, I'm staying there for 28 nights soon, just over 5 million vnd.
I had a huge list of places the problem is the video would have probably been 2 hours long. 🤣 I will be doing a couple more hotel videos in the near future. I've actually stayed at yen ve. I stayed at the balcony one bedroom at yen ve. It was my first ever hotel that I stayed at here danang last year.
Great video, I love your apartment reviews! Do you know if price are different in February/March, if not could you ask them next time you do apartment reviews so we can have an idea? Thanks!
Prices definitely go up once you get past the rainy season. Currently right now (September until January) Is the official rainy season. January is Vietnamese New Year and the weather starts clearing up also during that time. So prices will go up. But the city of Da Nang is very affordable either way. There's lots of apartments located in the same complex that I'm in. But they all have different owners. I found mine through posting an ad on Facebook expat group which I find to be the best way to find apartment rentals.
Wow. I really, really appreciate the words. I honestly try as hard as I can to give th most detailed, helpful I fo I can. Once again thanks a bunch. 👍👍
There is tons and tons of choices here just in this neighborhood alone. I think I'm going to do a couple more similar videos like this at different price points.
@@Travelistul The rainy season which is right now is usually the cheapest time. The rainy season ends right around January and that's when prices start to pick up. Especially because that's near Vietnamese New Year.
@@teacherrichard2081 Thanks I appreciate it. This was just a few of the many many hotels in this area. If I get enough interest I will go check out a little bit more luxurious hotels as well.
@@Willtravelz Will, please do a video on opening a bank account in Nam. I was told by an ex-pat that only a passport and phone number is needed for Sacombank but the hotel called them and 3 others and they all said I need a one-year visa (which is a residency visa?) Tired of conflicting information. Someone needs to set the rules in stone. It will be a very popular vid cos all the others on YT are very old and out of date. TY
@@TheAwkwardEntrepreneur hey man I've been about a day or so behind on that video. I'm hoping to have it up today or tomorrow at the latest. I just checked Agoda they do have some decent deals right now. Let me know if you're debating a couple of hotels in particular.
I would definitely say in the an thuong neighborhood. Then you will have to find tune it into a specific accommodation. Things like how far do you want to be from the beach, do you want a pool? Do you want larger space or do you want a more luxurious place? I recommend using agoda for hotels, or if you want longer term accommodations I usually rent those off of Facebook expat groups.
Hey Will, I am from the S.F. bay area and wondering if its an okay time to visit Da Nang (November) You told me you were from NOR CAL last time i messaged you!
Yes I've actually been there and I've done two different videos about if you want check it out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ybIjPHhNBAM.htmlsi=ZARBdugusBHv6SAw
Amazing video mate - Ive been coming to Da Nang since 2016 and Im always finding out new and cool places to go watching your videos. I can't wait to get there exactly month today for a holiday!
@@Willtravelz Thank you. I feel like I will like it in Da Nang. I have visited Thailand 4 times, but haven’t been to Thailand in 10 years. I have never been to Vietnam, but I think it will be fine. Your videos are a big help. I appreciate your work. Samy also has some helpful content.
$950 total for both of us. My gf is gone know and my budget is down to about $750 a month now. My gf is back in the Philippines temporarily. Single person $750 (myself) and when she's here it's a a little under $900 (for both of us.)
