Junk !!!! After 52 hrs deck is wore out and the dealer i bought it from said that it wasnt covered under warranty because they couldnt find any defects , electronics are also horrible , my son bought the same lawmnmower i did on the same day and his electronics went out on his also . Wouldnt recomend to anyone
The maverick is the highest level of their residential mowers the maverick hd is the entry level commercial mower they did this cause to many lawn companies were buying mavericks and using them commercially
I have the 48" cutting width and the Briggs V-Twin rated at 24 HP. It now has 105 hours. The only problem I've had was the grey plastic switch in the starting wiring harness. I replaced it quickly and cheaply and now works great. Oh yeah, the RF headlight bulb keeps burning out. Not a problem, as I quit mowing at 2 AM anyway.
TO REDESIGN THIS TERD IS GIVE IT MORE POWER AND SPEED I HATE MY 22 HD 27 HP EFI HONDA WELL SERVICED THAT THING IS A HUGE TERD STICK WITH A REAL BRAND SCAG HUSTLER TORO ANY HONESTLY
I just bought a TS148X and I think it's good compromise between the 354XD and the TS142 while still being somewhat affordable. The only things so far I think could be better is the fuel gauge (not the end of the world), the fact that the highest cut is barely 4'" and the turning radius could be a bit tighter (I had a cheap Troy-Built and it turned on a dime). Otherwise the Kawasaki engine is very powerful and smooth, not too loud, the deck is reinforced, there's 3 blades, you cover a lot of ground fast. I used to use a push lawnmower and it would take me 4 hours. Now it takes me under 40 minutes.
That thing with the 60" deck would be underpowered with that motor...and 7MPH sucks. The same ZT3200s will push other mowers to 10MPH but those are 27-28HP engines.
Biggest design flaw I've found on my 2024 Maverick is the emergency brake. It interferes with the seat unless it is all the way back. That means to start the unit you have to push the gray button in with your finger. It drives me crazy trying to teach someone how to start it. Not to mention it makes the brand look bad to a new person driving my mower
That roll over bar, what good does it do in the down position? How about demonstrating how to set it UP and locking it in place so it actually protects you from getting crushed by the mower... in a roll over.
Ha ha stealth addition ! It's beautiful! Turn on the PTO and invisibility goes away 😂. I have the red version and it's a great mower . Pay attention to all of your fluid levels because if they get low it will shut off to protect the machine .
i have a 348 xd and love it had it 5 years or so. put a sun canopy on it love the electric rearend. aslo have that new husquvarna zero turn. with the 60 inch deck. also great machine. but my go to is my old toro timecutter zero turn. have it for 15 years also a 24 hp kawasaki ingine has god only knows how many hours on it. runs like a champ. and my family old mower the john deere245 i think use it for the rototiller. but husquavarna is one of the best. also has the snow blade on it. andi installed a mootorcycle radio lol mione does not have a gas guage i have 3 acres. how much?6-7 grand i hear that right? damn i paid like3800 for mine but that was 5 years ago
I have one. I call it "the orange turd". It's the biggest pile of junk I've ever owned. I have a video series on it on my channel. One has 443,000 views. My Ikon Envy is a HOT MESS.
@@jordanlewis2870 8.6 hours thus far. Hardly justifies a review but so far it’s pretty awesome. Despite the small gas tank seems to be efficient. I’m 175lbs and my weight seems to make it slightly rear end heavy. EXCELLENT cut quality. I tried out the 52 pro stance before deciding to go with the z stance 48. It seemed quite comparable to the 52 but is substantially lighter which my Toyota Tacoma appreciates on these mountainous Maryland/Pennsylvania hills. Thnx for the inquiry.
I wish they would develop a strut or shock for the platform instead of the spring. It's like a diving board and could almost bounce you onto the controls when going over rough terrain… other than that this machine is a complete monster I demoed one.
I’ve owned mine for a month. 10 hours and about to change my break in oil. They’ve had some problems. If you own a Kawasaki 38.5Hp the fuel tank selectors are on the left and the hoses are chafing against the frame which could cause a leak and a fire. My front left wheel bearing wasn’t greased and accepted 20 pumps of grease. Bolts are coming loose. Hydro pump connections aren’t tight causing leaks. Hose clamps aren’t tight. Decks aren’t adjusted properly. Mine is amazing but Scag has quality issues that need to be resolved.
I have owned mine since 2019.. 89 hours ... major tip if you own one, DO NOT ENGAGE THE LOCKING DIFFERENTIAL while Moving .. I made this mistake and it cost me over 500.00 dollars to replace the actuator ... come to a complete stop engaging and disengaging the lock .
