Having worked with Mathew for about a year, one thing that stands out is his genuine care for people. Despite being our manager, he always put his heart into supporting both his team and the public, doing his best for everyone.
OPP is the best police service in Canada. I love you guys, thank you so much for your help. Special thanks for the attachments between Thunder Bay and Upsala, ON. Respect
If they are all 1st responders this idea could potentially bring down the morale of those responders who work just as hard and are just committed to the work they do to serve the public if they TOO are not acknowledged for their heroism. ❤
I hope they don’t send her to domestic or serious calls . A woman her size will get over powered by 95% of grown men . Not being sexist it’s just the truth
Used to support police..now they mostly enable corruption.. feel bad for uniform officers.. they pay the price for the under cover jerks doing unspeakable things to people.. same with the rxmp....hired to protect corruption
you understand people need somewhere to live, right? Housing is not for investment purposes -- anyone who thinks otherwise is likely a leech on society.
@@johnkennedy188 Rent, my friend. Buying is not worth it anymore if you're not rich or willing to live in the middle of nowhere. Be a slave to a bank for 25 years and live paycheck to paycheck? Hell no!
You are absolutely incorrect, my friend. I agree that the prices are inflated. However , if you bought it the right time , then you are paying rent to yourself in a mortgage. Paying high rent to someone else is never a win. 😂 Now , if you're a bum living in government housing and smoking weed and drinking Hennessey, then none of this applies to you.
Im still in school right now for police foundations.. I live in Windsor.. the housing here sucks as well.. close to London for pricing got off pretty lucky renting a house, 3 bed 1 1/2 bath for 1350 per month plus utilities.. so during the summer it's like maybe 1650 a month.. during the winter its closer to 1700-1800 per month.. (electrical heating only) will have to stay here as long as possible to save for a down payment.
I retired from Canadian Miltary January 2022 with +30 of service. During one of my deployments in 1992 I read a book freedom 55 and at that point I decided to make the military a career because 35 years of services would max pension of 70% that would make me 55yrs old. I was fortunate to achieve my retirement at age 50. This is how I achieved my goals. 1. I made a budget to save funds for a down payment 1992-1997. I was lucky during that time I had three deployments overseas so it was very achievable goal. I purchased my first house 1998 small starter house. 2. Being promoted over the years and relocating at the Miltary cost I sold and purchased upgrading the homes. Also being deployed and paying off the balance of the mortgage. 3. Any relationship I had the test was if the women would stay and be faithful during my deployments. Well guess what NOPE that didn't happen. So I retired single and no children. 4. When I retired I sold my last house in Canada fall of 2021 at high of the real estate $925,000 had a minimum mortgage left. I just take advantage of the market and it was time to hang up the uniform/retirement. 5. Over the years I max on my TFSAs and my Severance pay when release tax free as long as I deposited into RRSP and remainder maxed my RRSPs. Day after my release I had a one way plan ticket to Puerto Vallarta Mexico 🇲🇽 living my best life. Living in upper middle class neighborhood. Mission accomplished financial freedom. If you made it this far thank you for reading. Make a plan for retirement as early as possible there will be bumps. Ask for guidance from professional advisors not Joe Blow that has a high car payment. But from subject matter expert.
And then there is NYC, where if the attacker is black and the hero white, they'll stick the hero in jail. Yes, the attacker died in that instance, but I saw the video. The headlock dude let him go after just a couple of seconds of the attacker going limb.
It's a great example of where negative/fearful stories drive engagement, but the positive aspect to the story would inspire change. We don't get positivity reported as a direct consequence of capitalism. We only get the stories that make them money. Fear = engagement.
