if only it ran natively on linux... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... how can you not create a linux version :S and then it doesn't even support map baking like curvature, ao, etc... i mean i can do that in blender with no problem.why not in mixer which is the software that's actually designed for stuff like that?
It was so awesome to see the hard work, Care and variety you all have put in this project while playing Hellblade 2. I am just in awe at that game and how beautiful it is. Finally getting to see actual photorealism in my lifetime has been quite a treat! Didn't think I would live to see it. Glad I have been subbed for a long time now. After seeing that stuff it makes me want to get into UE5 so bad lol but I'm just not the guy who's going to have a threadripper and 4090 for design. Just yet at least. I can wish! If that's not necessary do let me know, please. What CPU/GPU/RAM do you guys run while creating this stuff? Thanks for all your hard work!
how do you know all those press this press that stuff shortcuts? that's what has kept me off programs like blender. so not intuitive. still, your video seems a bit better than what i've seen from others, but i guess i need a from minute 1 introduction into texturing first. checking your other tuts though. thanks.
good video thanks. this helped for assets that aren't updated in the Epic store. I am working with ue5.4 and everything in the store right now on Epic is 5.3 only
and now i love it <3 even shift drag with brush etc works, fantastic.... it's all SO EASY! and i finally found something that works perfectly on pop os! I'm so grateful..
I just left Adobe behind and after looking for substance replacements I remembered there was quixel mixer. It runs absolutely great on my Pop!_OS using Lutris/Wine, running very stable! So I'm pretty sure I just found the solution I'm going with in the future!! Nice overview over most I wanted to know! Thanks :)
