Great demo - thank you. Question - how do you prevent the dingle dangle from coming off the circle hook? If it's out on the surf, it'll be moving around a bit and the wire loop could go over the barb. How do you prevent this?
Hi Can you make a vid of catching a fish with this. So many vids of how to make them, but no one shows them catching a fish with one? Please make a vid showing
Hi there 😁 if you have a look at my older video: The barefoot, bucketless battle of 2021, you'll see me catch a cob using a dingle dangle pilchard bait
Yes it's definitely a thing but how the weight line and bait line are joined to the main line must be a trade secret because I've never seen anyone explain that bit. So, using common sense I've come up with two systems. The first and easiest is fixed with a swivel. I hang the swivel on first but let it be free for now, then tie on the weight to one end and hook on the other end. I then attach the hook to the dangle and dangle to the weight clip and hang the whole thing by holding the swivel. No need to measure, just tie the swivel on with a double overhand loop. The second method is slightly more complicated. I make a sliding rig with the store bought sliders (a bead with a swivel) or just use a large nylon bead or a swivel and two beads on either side but that's a bit messy imo.

Haga! My backyard..... Only thing is - man you can lose sinkers there - to the point where some resident fish should have lead poisoning 🤦♂️ When do we get part 2 🎣
Really enjoying your videos - nice to have footage of places I can/do fish and trying to recognise where you guys are. The reference to Pullen's Bay is a bit out tho - from Second River going east, next spot is Bosbokstrand - then it's another 2km of sand to the rocks that eventually take you to Pullens - after probably another 4km walk. Deep holes in the surf are less productive during the day in clean water - suggest the sandbanks with working water next to the holes - or try the holes at night. Can also suggest Glen Muir - nice to know that your car is safe + you have clean bathrooms to use when finished - go east to Dead Man's Gully - very nice fishing areas - lots of gullies - take the light sticks and something heavier to cover your options. Tight lines
Wow you really know the area well!! Thanks for the tips - we will certainly put them to good use 🙏 Your support is greatly appreciated, please feel free to share our links 😁👍🏻
