Hi everyone and welcome to my little space on RU-vid. You'll find videos technology, gaming, and pretty much anything else I find interesting (soccer, travel, finance). I hope you enjoy the content!
Very happy with the slim 7x. I have the 32gb 1tb version. A good review but I would say the keyboard is 100x better than the dreadful mac keyboard which is almost unusable
I would love if they had made an oled version of the lite with a better oled display screen, better thumbsticks, battery life, better ergonomics, and better memory storage. I did like the version i have but i mainly use my oled in handheld mode. But one thing about the lite compared to oled or switch version its better for on the go. Another thing i like about the lite is the position of the sd card slot which i like better than my oled as easy to pop in and out.
@@MannyRataul lol i guess i am. Switch oled was nice with it having better battery than regular one and better screen. I kind of wish they did that with the lite. But perhaps that will happen in next generation coming up. Im still curious how they will do the next switch
I have a 21.5inch imac, late 2012, with a 2.4 GHz quad-core Intel i5 and Mac OS 10.15.7. This thing was running very stable, but since last year or so it started to lag quiet heavily. Dont know what happened, guess the last update killed it. It has 16gb RAM and 1 TB memory and I paid around 1'500 usd for it back in the day. Now For the same 16GB RAM and 1TB memory, they costs over 2'200! That's weird! I really consider to go back to a windows system, but will it hold as long as an imac will?
A Windows desptop machine in that price range will get you significantly more power, however the screen/monitor will need to be purchased seperaely along with other peripherals. In my opinion and as somone who has used a windows machine for much longer than Mac, a Windows desktop will hold up much longer due to one simple reason: upgradability. Once you confiigure a Mac, you cannot upgrade any of its components...ever. With a windows machine you can swap out CPUs, Ram, GPUs, etc at your liking when you believe you machine might be slowing down. Intel and AMD cpus available for windows go neck and neck and often out performan Apple's own silicon. So you will not have to worry about a desktop's performance compared to a Mac.
Thanks for the review.. My wife currently has a 2017 Intel 24" iMac that has more troubles than it should as a consultant upgraded her IOS to one beyond the capabilities of the SATA drives, and she now has major delays, and "thinking wheels". She is furious about twice a day as a result. So, in spite of the cost, which we REALLY cannot afford right now, her needs for a viable computer outweigh that concern. My first thought was buying a Mac Mini and upgrading the Memory and SSD storage. But that leaves us with the monitor and speaker issue. Putting together a hybrid system is aesthetically ugly and space consuning, and besides she just loves her current 24" size iMac as we travel with it in it's custom rolling case which she adores and is a nice fit on her desk. So that's my plan. Buy the basic M3 8-core processor, but upgrade the memory (16GB) and storage (512GB) as you and many recommend. Her needs are not much, but she does tend to leave several apps open at one time specially Word, several windows of Chrome, Excel, and Outlook mail. She also enjoys some PhotoShop editing -- but no video editing. (That;s my domain.) Therefore I feel this basic model with memory and SSD upgrades are perfect. I KNOW she will be blown away by the improvement in performance and speed -- especially from the 2017 model.
Addendum: Another reviewer suggested buying the basic 256GB storage but adding an external 1-2TB SSD for processing storage and backup. How do you feel about that? She currently has a Samsung portable drive hanging from the rear of her iMac for Time Machine backups...
Hi brother i have a question can i use it as for medical student at a university would it be a great choice to buy this laptop, because i dont switch laptops for many years or should i step up can you please clear my confusion thank you.
I only really want to get a console for Halo MCC. Pricewise the Xbox S is great and im not overly concerned about graphics. As long as it looks good and plays well im happy. Need to buy a monitor as well so £250 saving will go towards that. Any suggestions?
I don’t know if it’s just me. I don’t see these features on my Xbox. Then again I have a 360. Does it not work on it? Would it only be Xbox one or higher ?
8K will not be the norm for all but the highest end productions and even then 99% will render 8k out in 4k they just want the freedom to make more edits without having as many issues.
Can’t decide on which to get. Is the game performance and graphics still pretty good on Xbox series S? That’s the only thing that concerns me. I’m pretty much just getting it for the new college football game & eventually GTA 6.
There’s a ram difference and that may not really matter as much now but it will in the future when a game like gta6 that has to load a huge map with 30-60 people on it at once. The Series S is already starting to run into problems(currently own the series S getting my Series X today) minor things that were easy to fix but still annoying. Sometimes the console won’t turn on/has a booting up problem I’ve had to reset my series S once already. Two of my friends have also had the same thing happen and had to reset there’s as well, but nobody I know that has an X has had the same issue. Gaming will continue to advance Microsoft knows this why do you think the Series S exist in the first place it’s more money for them because they know as time goes on and more games release that are more powerful people will start seeing issues with the S and haft to spend more money to upgrade to the X. I’m not saying the S isn’t worth it though I mean I’ve enjoyed mine since 2022 and for the most part it’s done me justice especially if it’s the only thing you can afford at the time. I will say though just prepare yourself for future problems down the road especially when a title like GTA6 releases the X was made to handle what’s coming but the series S in my opinion wasnt intended to last until the next gen of consoles release why else would Microsoft sell it for so cheap in comparison. also there’s a pro version of the X coming out this November so you can wait for that as well.
I tried have tried wired abd wireless methods even buying a normal bluetooth dongle none of which have worked so i have resorted to buying a microsoft adapter, just wondering if you would have any tips that would help, thanks!
You need to perform a hard reset on your pc (disconenct power from PC and turn off for at least 30 seconds) and you also need to reinstall the ram. Make sure you have the correct ram for your motherboard and make sure it is installed correctly. Incorrect installation and ram are the most common reasons for bootloop
@@MannyRataul I took the ram stick out and seated it back in for purpose of cleaning, its still in boot loop, I have tried hard reset and its still not booting, could it be the ram not in the slot properly?
What’s is never talked about is the necessity to have a strong internet connection with the S and Game Pass when the X can play non-online games. Being in a wifi “dead” zone, playing streaming games and online teams can be an issue and frustrating as you loose connection and, therefore, your game progress. With the X offering physical games options, this can be the only solution when having bad internet connection
Great video! I have a question: at 7:32 you say the M1 can play games from the PS3 generation. Did you mean PS2 generation, or can the M1 actually emulate PS3 games?
I got a PlayStation 5 last year of October 2023 from Best Buy as a Birthday gift/ Christmas gift for myself and I love the console so much couldn't believe how huge it is when I took it out the box I do have the original OG PlayStation 5 not the slim but congratulations on finally getting a PlayStation 5
i hope windows default have time machine like Apple did. i don't like the copilot stuf/i don't need it now, but powerfull backup tool is a matter in windows machine it self. What Apple competitor did usually has a better spec, but efisiensi system Apple better. So 10 core vs 12 core or even a lot of core in othe Apple competitor are actually didn't take too much for efisiensi n better performance. Windows lack on efisiensi and complex UI.
The series s even although no nvidia shield has the possibilities of cloud gaming due to the microsoft edge browser. Which supports browser based cloud game streaming
