Thanks Manny! This worked great. I took my piddly 8gb RAM to 16gb RAM in a breeze. (Now I can open two Chrome tabs at the same time LOL!) In all seriousness, thanks! It worked great and my PC is functioning much quicker.

I had 16gb of ram using slot 2 and 4. I bought an additional 16 gb of the same exact ram sticks (same size, speed, even brand) but when I install them they do not show in the Bios under the DRAM status and are not lit up like the original. Any idea as to why?
Hi there to there are three potential reasons why this is happening. I would do the following steps to diagnose the problem: 1. Install the new ram sticks in the same spot as the old sticks. If they show up in the Bios then you can confirm the ram is no defective. 2. Make sure when installing the Ram sticks that they are fully pushed in and are seated properly. This is most often the major cause of ram no appearing.

You need to perform a hard reset on your pc (disconenct power from PC and turn off for at least 30 seconds) and you also need to reinstall the ram. Make sure you have the correct ram for your motherboard and make sure it is installed correctly. Incorrect installation and ram are the most common reasons for bootloop
@@MannyRataul I took the ram stick out and seated it back in for purpose of cleaning, its still in boot loop, I have tried hard reset and its still not booting, could it be the ram not in the slot properly?
