Most Amazing Kawasaki Z1 900 Collection! 

I owned a lot of bikes over the years but my green tank 1974 Z1A was always my favorite. I rode that bike all over the western USA. Lots of great memories

That green 750 is beautiful

I grew up in the 60s, all motorcycles had these short 2 stroke motors with a few exceptions. One of the older kids bought a z1, and i was amazed at how tall the motor was!

I've been in the process of restoring a '74 H1 from the ground up the past 2 years. It's like the government and school systems - a bottomless pit! You can keep throwing money in it, but it never fills up. Didn't have any idea what i was getting involved with. If I would have known, I would have ran quickly away! I too have purchased many parts from Z1. They're honest, fast, and reliable!

Great video that's a lot of Z1 Jaffa's I live in Australia have restored 5 Zed's over the years currently have two 73 Jaffa's unrestored that came from the US years ago one mint and the not far from it also Z1A Z1B Z900 and a KZ 900LTD plus a modified Z1 greatest motorcycle ever made

Had a 1975 Z1B with a Windjammer III fairing. First bike my wife rode on with me. She still rides with me 45 years later on our BMW.

AB-SO-LUTE-LY freakin' AWESOME! I have owned over a dozen Z-1's, from stockers to a fire-breating 1326 cc monster! Also, I have had Honda 350F bikes through 836 cc 750 F0's, not to mention my "Anglophile" phase, with everything from BSA Victors and Gold Stars through Triumph Tritons and Norton 850's. And, of course, over a dozen two-stroke triples... ...I "graduated" to CBX's later, with bikes up to 200 HP, but they were finicky and didn't last long. I'm old now (71), and I don't need "the fastest set of wheels in town", so, I ride Harleys. If I had invested my motorcycle budget into Southern California real estate, I could give Gates, Bezos, and Musk a run for their money! Such is life, but I'll bet that I have seen more things and had more fun than they have.😮 I live about an hour away from these guys, so, I will drop in sometime soon. Thank you very much for sharing thiis!

I may be misremembering but I recall that some of the Z1s had problems with bearings in the front of the frame for the forks. A friend of mine had a crash at high speed due to a tank slapper. He later claimed that there had been a lawsuit brought against Kawasaki by some police departments for this issue.

I dunno seems like Z1s are something to stay away from, with that Mecum issue a few weeks ago and with another commenter pointing out that the frame at 3:50 is stamped with a 1975 vin..and you JUST said they were all 1973.

To all the common folk guys who just want to put together a one off of something they rode as a kid or young adult....good luck. Now you know where all the N.O S. parts for these bike went.....and I'm talking about common enthusiast you do the work themselves. Sure they"ll sell you stuff....if you blow 100.00 bill out your ass everytime you fart ....I have seen this stuff from the late ,80's thru the 90's......HOARDERS.....these bikes aren't a symbol of days gone by.....there a playground for the rich, most of them weren't even born let old enough to have one of these bikes when they were new....how many of you can afford 1 month rent on this place.....

I don’t understand the attraction to the 70s Japanese bikes. They were largely seen as boring looking, uninspired bikes in the 70s. No one paid much attention to them. Now people are acting like they are special. Very slow by today’s standards so just go buy an average modern bike.

What the hell, this is just hoarding....I'm supposed to be impressed?.....what a joke...I'm totally old school and appreciate vintage but when I see stuff like this I have hard time believing in what I just said....not impressed at all
