I always get so much more out of the indie and partner showcases than I do from nintendos first party ones. Ten of the announcements shown are now on my dekudeals wishlist lol
While these directs weren’t anything mind blowing, there were a lot of good announcements! Pizza Tower, Penkin, Yakuza, Suikoden 1 and 2, Patrick Game, Neva, and My Sims are all fun!
Date Everything was my favorite from the Indie World portion! I love silly visual novels, so this is up my street! I also can't help but admit Goat Simulator 3 interested me! I feel like I understand the silliness of the game and honestly, I love silly and wacky stuff! I was wondering if they were given to give a release date for Slay the Princess the Pristine Cut, but ah well!
Like they said during the Direct, Nintendo is focused more on creativity and fun. It seems to be working great for them and for the people that enjoy their games.
It's actually before you hit the checkout button. When you go to the shopping cart there's a button that says enjoy pokemon and you click that and then it lets you put in the promo code.
This has me so excited. Absolutely adored Link's Awakening. So glad they decided to create another game with this particular art style. Roll on September!
Sad seeing so many Nintendo fans hate this game. They want the first official Zelda game starring the Princess herself to have beautiful grand epic modern graphics and deep mature complex storytelling like ps games. Sad indeed
I think a lot of people are excited to play it like myself and a lot of people here in the comments. Zelda games can definitely have cutesy graphics and still be incredible games like they proved with Wind Waker a long time ago
Thats exactly what this game is, what in the world are you talking about. Nintendo fans are definitely excited to play thing game. Its already the second highest trending video on RU-vid.
@mr_m4613 nope, I've seen many are trashing EoW. I mean Link's Awakening remake graphics is acceptable cos that game was supposed to be a dream. It doesn't make any sense for this game at all. Is this game supposed to be a dream too?
@@noiamnot-jt4sr watch how much this game sells and they're not done advertising it and showing new videos. This will do 8 to 10 million easy surpassing link awakenings 7 million.

That bind ability is going to offer so many crazy ways of overcoming obstacle. From that first example of Zelda moving a huge rock into the empty space my mind was blown. Then when she was FLYING while bound to that bird... so wild.
@@zackatk77 Very unlikely to tie with A Link between Worlds as that game is followed by the original The Legend of Zelda on the NES which has Death Mountain instead of the _Eldin Volcano_ shown in the trailer. Since there's no Eldin Volcano in any game within the Downfall Timeline it's impossible for this game to take place anywhere before Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link.
It was a good trailer. I’m missing the more traditional dungeons and puzzles and it sadly kinda seems that this is going to be more open ended like breath of the wild and TOTK. But I am interested to see what this game has to offer.
I think the jump into the rift is going to be a more traditional dungeon but we'll have to wait and see in the next trailer. They also showed 2d platforming similar to the dungeons from Link's Awakening.
Don’t get me wrong, I do love the new formula too, I just miss the dungeons of old a tad. I feel like I’m being really critical of this game but I just want this game to do really well so we get more games as Zelda. I would love to see a 3D game with Zelda as the playable character.
