My hype level is 0, as it has been for all Star Wars products for about a decade now. Factor in it's a Ubisoft game and my hype actually goes in to the negative.
It might be a shallow thing, but, all other critique aside, a star wars game that doesn't involve interacting with The Force just isn't something that's of interest to me. From what I've seen so far, this game should have been a generic Sci-Fi title, rather than a Star Wars title.
I don’t trust AAA companies and the games they produce anymore. Creators sponsored by them, I trust even less. I’ll probably play this when it goes on sale for 60% off or something.
Hype level is 0. None of the trailers interested me. I cannot imagine myself connecting with any of these bland characters. If we finally have an open world Star Wars, why can we not customize our own character? That tells me they really don’t care about world building since they seem to focus more on a storyline that’s forced on you rather than building a world and having the story be something you do. It just looks bland
@@VadersFirst if you’re not interested in it then why are you still watching videos about it? Also there’s a lot of open world games that don’t allow you to create a character that are some of the best games of all time like red dead redemption 2 and breath of the Wild for example. Those games have amazing world building and stories
I definitely didn’t have a problem with the physics and the game played great. Just because I had a fun time with the game doesn’t mean I was paid either which I wasn’t
@@JustJaynie The physics thing is literally in your footage. You, yourself crash with another vehicle going full speed and all that happens is you stop. That's an issue. Not how physics work. Gives a clue that the engine or physics handling is more "arcade" and simplistic. Worth mentioning. No product is perfect and if you enjoy absolutely everything especially in a new game that's bound to be buggy and not finished that comes off as sus. One more thing, when saying that the world is full of life (or living or something to the same effect) and there are like 4 people barely moving in a grey alley it's kinda self contradictory. Glad you enjoyed it but what you say is not exactly what I see in the footage on more then one occasion.
@@tyraelpl Did you see the other crash that I included as well where I flew off the speeder and landed on the ground? I also included other scenes of the cantina and other places in Mirogana that have lots of people. Also if you don't like the game then you don't have to play it or criticize other people for enjoying it
lol, not everyone is hyper fixated on physics. And this is a wildly specific physics interaction. My wife wouldn’t care even if she saw it. She doesn’t even care about graphics really, unless it’s extreme. She cares about one thing “Am I having fun?” Honestly, more people need to have a bigger priority on that. Myself included. I’m quite a bit more of a critic than her. She often reminds me of what’s really important.
There's nothing that says that I can't say anything bad about the game which I even did add my criticisms if you would have watched the whole video. I think Ubisoft would want their creators to give honest feedback on the game.
@@JustJaynie If you really think Ubisoft cares about honesty I feel sorry for you. They have said and done so many anti consumer things you'd have to either be completely naive or biased in some way to think they have any regard for honest criticism.
@@JustJaynie Yeah you are just part of a group Ubisoft provides early access to so you can make money off of videos about their games before other people. So basically sponsored then huh. You even said this in the video for "transparency" so clearly there is acknowledgment that it could affect your view of the game or you wouldn't have to bring it up in the first place.
I actually haven’t played the Jedi games yet but this is an open world game so it’s more like Red Dead Redemption 2 when out exploring the planets. The combat feels more like Uncharted or Tomb Raider too
Your critique about the stealth aspect hits home. I’m like you, shoot first, ask question later. But I’m willing to bet we’ll be able to upgrade the blaster and combat aspects the deeper in the game we go. Regardless, I’m going full blown Rambo on some galactic scum!!
Yup and that’s how AAA gaming sucks you in. They dazzle you with pretty graphics when in reality there’s absolutely no substance for writing, characters, etc. It’s been killing the industry for years now
Ah, a Star Wars game where I'm the main character~ (kidding) This game looks like a load of fun! The shift from planet to space reminds me of No Man's Sky so now I'm doubley interested xD
This is honestly the first Star Wars game I've been enticed to play. The whole 'Jedi vs. Sith' rivalry felt good for the movies, but the games open doors for countless other stories of the universr to be told.
