The critically acclaimed, multi-award winning musical at London’s Victoria Palace Theatre.
HAMILTON is the story of America's Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the very foundations of the America we know today. The score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway - the story of America then, as told by America now.
HAMILTON has book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire and is based on Ron Chernow's biography of Alexander Hamilton.
Will there ever be a recording of Hamilton with this cast? I saw it in Manchester and it was absolutely spectacular, everyone was either as good as the original recorded version or much better (better for most of the roles, honestly)! At that's comparing live vs. recorded version, where the live version was simply better on all counts! It completely ruined my experience of listening Hamilton anywhere online, because that's only with the American cast. I simply can't enjoy Hamilton or King George and half of others now that I know how this cast sounds!
This version of Burr is so priceless honestly 😭😭 the way he looks at the camera after he says “and me?” Is so unserious I love it, honestly I love how a lot of the non-Broadway stagings are a bit more goofy it gives it such a unique feel
When I was a kid I keep hearing Rachel Ann Go in TV. Then one day I didn't hear her voice after few years. I realized she moved overseas to pursue her dreams in Broadway. Probably the reason why I am such a fan of theatre was because of her. We don't get as much theatre plays here in the Philippines.
Psychology of complaining/complainers: Stems from insecurity and favoring their bets by belittling anything that threatens their preference. LOL. Very typical so forget about the haters and let them suck it up LOL
I think it sounds odd because they are trying to do an American accent. I would be curious to hear them do it with their British accents. I know it might not 'fit' historically, but I think it would sound better.
