Yay Shannon! Excellent work to recover, and to record all these wonderful video diaries, which will undoubtedly inspire and support so many others. You must feel so proud. I commented on an earlier video of yours that we both started the ANS REWIRE at about the same time! I fully recovered in 2018 and unexpectedly ;) trained and became a Nationally Certified Transpersonal Hypnotherapist during covid. I started Divine Hypnotherapy, LLC and using zoom I work mostly with clients who are living with ME/CFS/FM, anxiety, PTSD and more. It's rewarding to support others through their journeys. I'm really happy for you!!

Hi Shannon! Your video diaries are so detailed. What a gift, not only for others in recovery, but also for yourself. You've done so much hard work and have come so far. FYI we both started the ANS REWIRE program at about the same time. I have been fully recovered since 2018. You mentioned that you used hypnotherapy in your recovery process. It was completely unplanned, but I became a Nationally Certified Transpersonal Hypnotherapist during Covid and started my own business, Divine Hypnotherapy, where I offer online sessions. Currently many of my clients are living with ME/CFS/FM, as well as anxiety and PTSD. It's such rewarding work. I truly hope you have reached full recovery!

I don’t say you have to push yourself, but going by the way you talk I think you still have a sense of real fear (which is logical) of relapsing. You have to trust your body again. It healed itself and is strong. Maybe that little part is holding you back from a 100%.. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hi Shannon. Thank you so much for your videos. I recently started the ANS Rewire programme and I was really struggling with believing that I will improve (had a "setback" recently). After watching your update videos, my motivation and self belief are back! There were a few important things for the near future I was putting off because I was scared I wouldn't be well, but this has given me the motivation and confidence to plan for them whilst accepting that I wouldn't be able to do as much as before, instead of just cancelling them. Thank you so much once again and please do send another update.

I'm so glad my video could help you hold on to hope of recovery! It really is important for you to believe you will heal, especially when you have setbacks... and setbacks are inevitable. Also, I have a more recent recovery video from this May if you haven't seen that one. Best of luck to you!!!

Hi Shannon! Been probably a year since I talked to you! Steve here... I just wanted to let you know how happy I am for you and your recovery!!! And you have come along way !! As for me I am finally recovering. Started in April. Forced home due to covid and able to finally connect with my adhd son. I started dr joe Dispenzas meditations and they took me out of fight or flight. Once the fear ended and neural plasticity took place, my body started healing. I am now able to do exercises with my body. Light weights. No PEM no crashes if I am careful. It’s my genes switched back to homeostasis. So now begins the slow reversal of the deconditioning. I am very gradually increasing steps. But having extra energy to put into exercise is making energy in return ya know? Which is the opposite of severe cfs. So on the road back. Couldn’t be more thrilled. Yesterday I walked to my back shed. I hadn’t been In there in 2 1/2 years lol. Slow and steady. I will get there. Severe to moderate here I come! Anyways congrats again. Perhaps an interview with Dan Neuffer ? Lol. Take care. Steve.

Hey Steve! Wow! I'm so happy to hear you've come so far in your recovery. Really, we forget how bad off we were when we start to be able to do things like walk to a shed we haven't been to for years. What a big milestone! Yes, meditation is one of the most important tools for our nervous system, good for you. Sounds like quarantine was kind of a blessing for you and your family. Just so, so happy for you. Thanks for the update... I was wondering how you were getting along. Just day by day, and be kind to yourself. :-)

@Blue333vid 3 года назад
Alexandra Albertz hey there. For me all of the blessings of the energy Center meditations worked the best. There are four. Start with one. I had to pay for them but they are well worth it. Also the heart coherence meditation by attuned to love on RU-vid. He bases his meditations off of dr joe. They truly healed me. My cfs is now moderate heading for mild. Also did celery juice. Atp fuel. No sugar. No breads. Yoga when moderate. Biggest factor, find your biggest stressor. Write it down. And decide how to overcome it. The ANS must heal thru calm and rest and meditation.

Thanks a million for this beautiful documentation of your journey. I'm considering ANS Rewire, but skeptical not because I have been sick for 10 years (I keep chuckling at your talking about having been sick for 5 years, I know that felt like forever for me at the time, but it actually is a relative short period for those of us with more complex cases of ME/CFS). I'm mainly skeptical because I have used both the Gupta program and DNRS intermittently for years and I still would be considered moderate/severe in terms of how badly I am affected by CFS.

Hi Shannon. My name is Steven and I have severe CFS. I came across your videos looking for people who are recovering while doing Dan Neuffers ANS Rewire. I have been doing the program since October. I am mostly couchbound and using a wheelchair as I can only walk 250 steps per day without crashing the next day. I have watched all your videos and am super inspired by your progress. I spoke with Dan Neuffer personally in Jan and he told me my first signs of improvement would be increased energy and quicker recovery times from a crash. I’ve just started to see this now in march and April. Anyways, I would very much like to be able to contact you via email and just exchange ideas and support. I don’t have anyone or know anyone who knows this illness to help me. Thank you Shannon!

@authorshannonesposito7975
@authorshannonesposito7975 5 лет назад
Thank, Lori. Yes, definitely. Because the anxiety/PTSD was actually causing so many daily adrenaline rushes, that there was no way my nervous system could begin to heal. I did have to go back on an antidepressant, which I really didn't want to do. But, unfortunately my brain responds really well to them and within a few weeks I was stable enough to go to therapy and deal with my trauma. My therapist gave me a lot of tools for the anxiety, plus I also went to hypnotherapy, which was really helpful. And there was one book (Hope and Help for Your Nerves) that I would recommend to anyone struggling with anxiety. When I started using her technique, I stopped having panic attacks and haven't had one since. Hope this helps!

I can cook meals and have been able to be at some small stores for a 15-20 min, which is a big improvement for me. I'm hoping to make even more improvements and heal from this totally. Yah, Kathy! I'm sorry you've been going through this, too, but I'm so excited for you that you're seeing progress. It's so hard to know when we're overdoing it sometimes until the crash comes. Especially if it's mental work, which takes a lot more energy but is hard to gauge. It's really helped me to learn to enjoy the time when I'm forced to rest, instead of getting upset about it. During this downtime I do a lot of visualizing my life in the future when I'm totally recovered and all the fun things I'm going to be able to do. :-)

Thanks for sharing your story. It can be hard to think about, I'm sure. 🤗 I had a pretty major medical scare that set me off with pots too and gave me some PTSD as well. Also a, few years before that I was dealing with pretty severe pain... herniated discs that Drs said couldn't possibly be as painful as I was describing leaving me virtually bed bound in tears for at least a year... then frozen shoulders and more... etc... I actually felt like I was getting a little bit slowly better for about a year but I ve been in a crash since after Christmas and I m trying to get out of it.! I m debating about getting ANS rewire.... I read his book and I did DNRS.... although from what I have heard from other people Dan's program is more thorough. Well! here's to recovery!
@authorshannonesposito7975
@authorshannonesposito7975 5 лет назад
I also got DNRS and I think the 2 programs work well together. I did take the one important exercise away from DNRS (which I can't mention because of copyright, but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about) but the concept is just one "anchor" in ANS Rewire. So, yes, ANS Rewire is much more of a comprehensive guide to healing. Now that I've got the PTSD under control, I'm going back and starting the program from the beginning again. So much information, but I feel more ready for it this time through. Happy Healing! :-)
