Thanks, Kathy! Yeah, I really am getting so much more out of the videos the second (or third) time around. It's a process for sure.

Hi Shannon. My name is Steven and I have severe CFS. I came across your videos looking for people who are recovering while doing Dan Neuffers ANS Rewire. I have been doing the program since October. I am mostly couchbound and using a wheelchair as I can only walk 250 steps per day without crashing the next day. I have watched all your videos and am super inspired by your progress. I spoke with Dan Neuffer personally in Jan and he told me my first signs of improvement would be increased energy and quicker recovery times from a crash. I’ve just started to see this now in march and April. Anyways, I would very much like to be able to contact you via email and just exchange ideas and support. I don’t have anyone or know anyone who knows this illness to help me. Thank you Shannon!

Hi Steven, I'm so sorry you're going through this. Being couchbound is so hard and I remember those wheelchair days. Just keep reminding yourself its where you are right now, not where you'll be in the future. Thanks for letting me know that sharing my journey has inspired you.... that makes it worth it. Isn't Dan great? So supportive! And yes, the first spark of healing I noticed was quicker recovery time after a crash. Glad you're seeing this for yourself! So happy to hear that you have some good days and got to be with your mom.. I have a few better days mixed in with all of the bad crap. I hope this continues for me. And I hope it continues for you.. yay

Thanks! Yeah, learning to be at peace with the crap days was big for me. That's so hard, isn't it? I hope your good days continue to gain ground, too, but we have to remember there's no finish line. One thing I'm trying not to do is look for those good days and be anxious about how long it's been since I've had one. One moment at a time is all we've got.

I'm thinking on buying the ANS rewire program... Could you please share how are you doing today ? Did the program help ?

I'm doing well! I'll try to do an update video in the next couple of days. The kids are home for the summer, so it's been busy. But yes! The program has been a lifesaver.

Oh Shannon it is so good to see this positive news for you having more good days!! How did you treat the anxiety and PTSD? Do you think that took off the emotional burden and allowed you to start healing more?

Thank, Lori. Yes, definitely. Because the anxiety/PTSD was actually causing so many daily adrenaline rushes, that there was no way my nervous system could begin to heal. I did have to go back on an antidepressant, which I really didn't want to do. But, unfortunately my brain responds really well to them and within a few weeks I was stable enough to go to therapy and deal with my trauma. My therapist gave me a lot of tools for the anxiety, plus I also went to hypnotherapy, which was really helpful. And there was one book (Hope and Help for Your Nerves) that I would recommend to anyone struggling with anxiety. When I started using her technique, I stopped having panic attacks and haven't had one since. Hope this helps!

@@authorshannonesposito7975 that is awesome, thank you so much! I've been learning about the impact of emotions and believe that is why none of my years of supplements/diets/ton of other healing modalities have worked. I'm doing tapping and mind body stuff now and it's the first thing that has made any difference at all. Wishing you further wellness! :)

@@lkwillia77 Yeah, I really wish more doctors understood the mind/body connection and treated us holistically instead of being sent to a different doctor for each body part. Tapping, four-square breathing and meditation are my favorite tools.

@@authorshannonesposito7975 Yes totally!! We need more family doctors like Gabor Mate in Vancouver (if you haven't seen his youtube talk, it's called the Body Says No). Thank you for the 4 square breathing suggestion, I had not heard of that! My fave tools so far are fasterEFT and the chi machine...and mind body books like The Divided Mind by Sarno. Oh and mindfulness meditation too...but I find I need the tapping to get my body ready for it :)
