You know Sheldon respected her for it. She postulated the experiment, explained it step by step, and then proved its prediction to be true. If I understand Sheldon's character like I think I do, that was probably disarming, and arousing.
I play chess regularly. I even have an app to play people who love the game on my own skill lv. My friend and i play chess at bars, and hookah lounges with stangers. Its surprising a great conversation starter. I own a batman chess set. Batman vs joker. It's confusing beyond all hell because my knight doesn't look like your knight and all the other pieces. Point is I love chess. When strangers want to play us we never know if they really have never played before or are a pro. Me. Every game I go through the motions. I have strategy but I like to change it up. Maby I'll take the queens out of the eqashion just for the heck of it. Between me and my best friend he's dubbed me the better player. Love chess. Such a smart game. O and when I was a kid I called the knight a horsey and the rook a castle. I think we all did. Lol

He could have done both -- played on his laptop until the party, dropped out for a couple of hours, then jumped back in. I'm sure the other three could have made accommodations.
