@Đoàn Anh Thư NGUYỄN it's not, he was neither coerced nor had his choices restricted. She informed him clearly what she was going to do and he had every option to NOT do it. He could leave any time of the "experiment" and he also gave full consent and had complete knowledge of what was being done to him and chose to do it.
Maybe the best manipulation was when Leonard got the dinner tablet and that make Sheldon try to break up with Amy, Penny warned her and when Sheldon arrived to her place she was ready to make him think what she wants
It was part of the steps though. Appealing to his scientific curiosity. In a way it disarmed him that much more. Consciously or subconsciously the more he realized what she was doing the more it worked.
Sheldon is so used to people not truly listening to him, Amy knew that, and proceeded forward with her plan. She knew exactly what she was doing - just by paying attention to Sheldon. He truly is gobsmacked with attraction to Amy.
It's a "trap" that he secretly wants to fall into. Having someone who knows you so well take things that you love and associates them with a person he already likes. That's just smart and good deal for everyone.
@@kathleen4301 In Young Sheldon there's an episode where he makes his first relationship agreement. He says in the voice over that he made them with his roommates, wife, and even his own children. Reference: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WQzICeklGnY.html.
I loved this not only because of how funny and sweet the scene is but also as a psychology student I realize there aren't enough sources that show how big this field is, everyone thinks it'a all about Freud and creepy social science experiments when in fact it has plenty to do with neurology and real day-to-day life. Amy's character did a brilliant job showcasing that ❤
his uh oh closely reminds me of moment when Penny´s car finally stops working.. the expression on her face was pretty much the same effect and meaning..
I love how she managed to kill 2 birds with one stone: demonstrating how much she cares by showing how well she knows him and proving a neurological theory about relationships at the same time lol
if you are close to dying from watching that id suggest you stop watching it as it might be hazardous to your health or maybe its triggering something in your system to put you close to death,... you should seek medical help :)
LMAO!! People do these things all of the time, but I've never heard it verbally explained beforehand in such a scientific manner! I love this show so freaking much XD
Explaining it beforehand in a scientific manner is also one of the things that Sheldon would be very attracted to though, since it would elevate his curiosity.
I know that feeling when Sheldon said Uh Oh. A coworker I had a crush on came into the store one time wearing the sexiest short jean shorts and a top. I asked her out later that day during our shift together and she said yes. 4 dates later she cooked me a steak dinner. Couple years later in our relationship together I talked about that day when I decided to ask her out. She said, "Yeah.....it worked just as I planned."
@@jaysonlikes Sadly no. After 5 years, life was giving us horrible curve balls that I wasn't dealing with well and we broke off our engagement. That was almost 10 years ago. I've learned from my mistakes and also had a life lesson about how to take care of yourself afterwards.
I think this shows her charm and talent as a actor. She behaves as natural as she does in the show as when she does on interviews. Something that makes her relatable to those who have experienced the situation she's portraying. I would very much like to watch a more serious film of Jim and Mayim. I think it will be an epic.
Bubbs Master well, it didn’t take long for my current boyfriend to figure out how to win my heart. He knew I had a sweet tooth and drink tea like water, so when I had a bad day at work he took me to my favorite coffee shop and bought me a cup of earl grey and a cookie. Then our first Easter together, he made me a basket with my favorite candies and a copy of “Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame -diamond edition" which is my favorite movie. You gotta understand is that girls love details of acts of love instead of grand gestures. Something she only mentioned once and you show her you remember by giving it back to her someway. Make her a playlist of her favorite artists. Have some of her favorite treats on hand when she has a bad day. Or showing her her favorite movie and loving her reactions to her favorite parts. You'll figure it out!
I like how he didn't even notice that he fell for the real trap he almost instantly stopped talking about going to the shop and accepted the premise that he had to have dinner in order for the experiment to work so she won before he even sat down
Of course he did sheldon lovesto be experimented on and he loves experiments and he has a scientist cannot say no to an experiment so don't say that he fell for the trap that was not a trap it is an invitation, and sheldon agreed to be part of it. I hate it when people whobe never watched the show talk about it
@@lizlezzario6977 never watched the show lol I've seen them all more than once no need to get your panties in a knot just because I interpreted something differently than you
BedsitBob so u say she is seducing sheldon cooper and the character in the show is sheldon cooper and NOT jim parson then how can you say it isn't believable based on your logic that she is seducing the correct person portrayed here! With you being a homophobe, none of your comments towards sheldon or jim parson should be heard and should be spammed as soon as you spit them out.
I love this scene. Amy is brilliant in bringing Sheldon's subconscious feelings of attraction towards her to the surface all by using the classic experiment of tapping into emotional connections to certain things.
I love how Amy basically trick Sheldon in to say we should do this more often. She has all the right equipment to trap a man or woman into a relationship with no regrets or very little regrets that soon pop out of their mind.
It gets funnier everytime i watch it. To know the experiment was explained and he the smart guy fell for it anyways. And him realizing this was like a big smack across his smart face 😆 we all have to love people like Sheldon.
The ladies in Sheldon's life have always known the best way to 'control' Sheldon. 1) Amy in this video 2) Penny when she gets him to add clauses to the roommate agreement to override Leonard 3) Bernadette when she tricked Sheldon into doing Howard's chores. Just some examples.
@@MrDakaltiBugger Lol...yeah. And Will Wheaton told him a sob story about his grandma to win a game. Howard made Sheldon do all kinds of things in exchange for a meeting with Stephen Hawking.
honestly my favorite couple in the show. and the end of the episode is even better when she's like "we're playing doctor, star trek style" and sheldon's like "leonard i'm being tortured.... don't stop" lol
This is really sweet! although Amy explained it as an experiment/manipulation, what she actually just did a bit of investigation about what Sheldon liked (or she remembered those things when he mentioned them to her before) and offered them to him on a date night. I mean, isn't that exactly what an average, considerate and loving girlfriend would do for her boyfriend on a date night?
I wish she would stop dressing like a grandma! I would have thought penny would have fixed her up by now!!! All I hope is that when they get married she wears a sexy dress not a crappy lace 1000 year old looking thing
