yeah its amazing tv, unfortunally buy this tv is a lottery, because it's impossible to know which panel it will have Samsung sells S90D with both panels, W-oled and QD- oled and after ppl spend so much for buy a qd-oled, finding a w-oled would make anyone angry :/

@Quantum TV: I was so sure, (more then 100%) to get an G4 later this year. Now i have many doubts because of all your great calibration settings. I now leaning towards Samsung S90D. But my main problem is that i don't like Samsung because of the word that there updates are downgrading a tv. Is this true? And second in my country i can't buy the S90D but a retailer said that we have the S93D and that is the S90D. Only the 65 inch have qd screen. Is this possible/does this happen often? I feel this. Still my LG LX9500 Flagship Winner from 2012 in the US Shootout is in my Sleeping Room normal LED TV makes the best Picture. And i bought 3 Years ago a Sony Qled 9505 and the Picture is shit. Not even close... Only on 4k content and a good Source Sony looks good. But what LG did 12 Years ago is still Worldclass. The hype the new Oleds and Qleds for 2000 Bucks and the Picture is rarely Worldclass. The Samsung here do a better Job. What you will with the best Black Levels if the rest is average. My LG 9500 was calibrated by a Pro and raised the Picture from the General Settings 70%.
Hi Quantum, I’m watching your video on my 65” Q80R. I see everything you’re saying I should see. I’m using Darko’s settings. I didn’t know you back then. I looked and didn’t see your take on mine. Am I missing it? I’m certainly interested. I’m a member so why not? I joined to help a friend with their S90D. Plus I like your style so I’m letting it run for a while. I haven’t had a chance to get over there yet. Keep up the great work! Joe
I still have and use a Q8, as well as a S90D. My Q8 was subjected to every firmware update that Samsung put out for the Q8. Do you think the pic quality would have been significantly better without them using your settings? BTW, if anyone still has aQ8, you have to try Q’s HDR 10+ settings. The pic quality is really something to see, in MHO.
A 2018 TV you can’t get more better proof than that! & it’s an LCD unbelievable! I still can’t believe that they ship TVs looking this bad out of the box. Like I don’t know who makes these decisions, but they all deserve to be fired! Not that I ever want you to be out of work, but it’s ridiculous! Also, is that metal remote still possible to get maybe on eBay? Would it be able to work with a newer model? That’s the one thing I’m not looking forward to with upgrading to Samsung. The remote navigation seems like it’s confusing as hell. The way you have to like rock it up and down like a mouse almost from what I can tell form other videos.
Thank you brother! Yeah I what we effectively just saw was a 6-7yr old tv with my settings, beat the out of box experience in the most accurate mode. This absolutely proves they're making new tvs look like old ones! The metal remote should still be on ebay. But idk.
I have owned all major brand OLED’s and I can’t disagree more. Followed your advice and bought the C, even paid for helping calibrate it. After just over a year, it is hands down the worst TV I have owned. Samsung’s interface and processing are infuriating.
What deer and horses have color? Haha your settings are not over saturated. Your using colors what these tvs are capable of. You should have your own schooling to teach people how to properly calibrate tvs. The way they are teaching people is outdated. People saying your tv is over saturated must like black and white. Yours is more true to life.
Bravia 9 doesn’t destroy any of the top oleds and that’s one of the best LCDs you can get and you’re trying to sell that this model does based on out the box … what can i say he knows his audience are stupid , just like calibration is not preference settings , you can’t share calibration settings as to get Tv calibrated you need the equipment set up in your home environment for it to be done . Do you actually know what calibration is ??? Do you actually thinks it’s tweaking settings on a Tv and pressing codes on remote to get into service menus? Good god 🤣🤦🏽♂️
Well on RU-vid you can't see three dimesnsional pop...Also in some scenes i agree the Q8FN does look very good but in others it looks complete trash.. In some scenes i see what people mean when they say your settings over saturate.. Not what i would want to be watching.
Quantum you not only give settings in your subscription but your actually teaching people about calibration..getting your settings actually helped me understand what im looking for to improve the picture
And you ignore how dead your "standards" are in every example where it looks ass, only pointing out perceived strengths lol. Thats biased if i ever seen it
As I said it before and I will say it again. The Q8FN has one of the most amazing and the most vibrant color images ever created and not to mention the metal remote control included in which is the reason why the Q8FN is a match from heaven.
The only reason most of them disagree with u cause those other tv youtubers either take each other side or say I dont care for what others say but take shots at the secretly. What ur doing is true I had my s90c out the box so I took your calibrations and tweak them closer to the white point using different movie content with real whites and took the blue tint and greet tint to warm color. Now it looks alive and colorful. Thank u

This video is going to make a significant impact; I believe it will sway many skeptics over to your side. To those who are skeptical, give his settings a try-it's just five bucks! I used to prioritize reference accuracy but often found myself thinking "his settings actually do look better." I finally decided to give them a shot, and it turned out to be the best decision I made for my TV. You have nothing to lose, and $5 is well worth the chance.
