G3 77" or 83"? On the one hand I do like the light boosting effect, then again I do like the bigger size and probably the more pure color, contrast and black on the 83inch additional it is offered relatively cheaply ~ which one would you prefer? ~ thank you for all of your content*
I got the C1 for two years. I am looking for good settings to max the PQ. May i know whether your settings include movies, PS5 and switch (both SDR and HDR)? I can access all once i join the membership?
Hey Quantum for the last couple of days I’ve been trying to change settings on my G4 to get the best out of it for gaming on the series X and it just looks awful. You’re completely right I’m missing the reds they’re just not the same even when I compare them to my last tv which was the Samsung QN90A which I now regret upgrading from to the G4. I hope by joining your channel you can bring life back to this set, because at the moment I can honestly say the way it looks, I have buyers remorse and I feel like I’ve wasted a lot of money for a mediocre viewing experience. I can’t wait to try your settings and bring life back into this thing using your knowledge and expertise… Will be joining your channel later today. Thanks for your efforts
Thanks for the illuminating video! It has explained the things I have been seeing with great accuracy and no bs. I dont think shadow detail is worth anything if it destroys both contrast the feeling evoked. Especially if there is a pickel person underneath.
hey q is the processing of g4 really all that good thats what everyone seems to rave about i have a c1 pq already looks dam good to me how much better is the g4 in that regard
hey Q you are very funny but you keep it 💯you don't hold back shit, that's why I subscribe to you. The last few weeks of watching your video got me sold, so I purchased the S90D 55in few weeks ago.Thank you for keeping it real and talking to us like friends and family do. I'M looking now for a 77 in that gets very close to the wall cause it will be wall mounted what do you suggest. another S90D in 77in or something else.
To me nothing has reach the level of greatness both in game and movie aspects as the " LG UK6090PUA " 2018 ....to this Day...the colors are vibrant but serious, the contrast is perfect, 3d look its outstanding... new games nowadays looked a little Dim but men that TV is close to perfect...
#PicklePrincess . That really made me laugh. Good job man! Awesome work as always! After watching and listening to this one, I can definitely say that as a Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes fan I could never get a G4 because the color red is way too important for me! It’s one of the biggest things I’m most excited about saving up for the S90D! In the meantime, I’m glad to still have a C1 that clearly still handles it better!BTW those weren’t new cinema settings were they? The APS ones are still the best right? I didn’t miss any updates? You didn’t uncover anything new after all?
They were experimental cinema settings, but you're the 2nd member to notice 😝guess i might have to put them out afterall lol. And i totally understand about the reds. The S90D will make you feel breathless pressure from how amazing it looks for red especially!!
@@Quantum_TV Haha nice! I thought they looked different! After all, I’ve been doing nothing but rocking your settings from day one of having this TV! Sweet! Yeah I’m so excited! I would have it a lot sooner if I could just buy the TV, but as I mentioned, I need to upgrade my Blu-ray player and I also want to upgrade my sound bar as well since my current LG sound bar is only a two channel one and doesn’t even have any simulated Dolby Atmos Support that plus a new wall mount for the slightly bigger size as I’ll be stepping up form a 48 inch to a 55 inch makes it about $3,500 with the Best Buy membership discount. it’s driving me crazy the waiting, but I know it’s going to be worth it in the end.
Can you comment more on the g4 motion. I can’t stand stutter judder or soap opera. Morie effect… I still rock a plasma becuase of this.. is it even getting close or am I going to have to wait ten more years…
My LG c1 broke last week I had a vertical line my TV was insured and they took it away for fixing when it came back, it had been dropped Probably in transport an the screen and frame was damaged on the edge. so as you can imagine, I’m not happy but it looks like I’m going to be refunded to the full amount. I was thinking of going for the LG g4 I will probably have to put some money towards what’s your thoughts on this thanks
@@francoismarcil9242 can't link the settings however you can click Quantum profile pic and after that you just need to scroll down on the playlist untill you see (LG C1 Settings)
I think when most reviewers do comparisons, they use the calibration standards as a way to see which TV is "best" at getting reference accurate. In their mind, the TV that gets closest to reference, is automatically the "best." Maybe true, in their testing that is, there are tvs that are better at meeting the reference point than others, but, in reality, that means nothing about which TV can actually look better to the perceived eye. I see what you mean with your videos. I also just get what they do. But what they do shouldn't be used as an actual benchmark for which TV is best. I think which TV is most versatile with its picture settings, is the best. Meaning, you can go from a pro calibration standard meeting it, as well as expanding the tvs capabilities. You kill it with the qd oled vs mla oled vids. Because when they have them in the industry standard calibration, they both look similar and crappy. It's like which one is better at looking shittier. And if that's what some like, okay, but when you take the qd oled vs mla, and tweak them to their full potentials, than the differences become quite clear for example. Making the qd oled more versatile, even if the mla oled can match or exceed in "reference" settings. Again, as they both are similar when calibrated professional. But the qd oled can get way more wild when you tweak it.
