That’s what they say, but… better safe than sorry. There are rumors that some manufacturers add some chemical in the woks to keep them from rusting in warehouses. It’s up to you, but using this technique ensures you are working with a clean surface. Happy cooking
Haha, thanks . This new job has me working long hours without the ability to get new videos produced. You guys are doing great work down there. Keep it up! Happy cooking!
Hahah, this is an American Chinese dish. I almost never saw butter used when I lived in Asia. Nor did I ever see anyone make this. That said, it’s popular here in the states
Glad we met today. Will have to try a few recipe’s and get back to you. I have a couple of friends who are chefs but not Tai recipes💕Both have their own restaurants. And friends from Hong Kong, Philippines. and Japan but we do not cook together any more due distance now ☹️ so this will be a fun adventure🎉Thank you.
It was a pleasure meeting you as well. I can’t wait to hear your feedback on some of my recipes ☺️. It’s so great that you have so many culinary friends. Taiwan was a real eye opener for me as they have influences from all over Asia. I just wish I could get the same quality produce here without breaking the bank. Thanks again for subscribing. I hope you enjoy my content.😁
Hi!! Have you ever done peanut butter with this blender? I notice that this video was posted 1 year ago, do you still have it? is it still as powerful ? Your answers would help me in my search of a blender that is not as expensive as the 3 hundred and up brands but that it does a decent job good enough for me, a home cook that wants to eat a little healthier. Thank you so much in advance.😁
Followed instructions to a T from this video….425f preheated oven, wash 5 mins w/soap and water, dry, into oven 20min, oil inside/outside wipe with dry paper towels so no drips happen, in for 20 mins, and repeated 3 more time…cooled it down then attempted to cook an egg….stuck like no other…..
@@UncleBillsKitchensorry I have another question: After I take it out of the oven, I need to oil it slightly and then put it away or what? What’s the last step after taking it out of the oven when I don’t cook immediately but store it?
I just received my Souped Up Wok and the very first thing it says under Care and Maintenence is "Please DO NOT season it". I'm not sure which instructions to follow, the manual or this video?!
Follow your heart. My opinion is that I don't trust factory sealants from other countries. I don't know what chemicals they use. I've been very happy with my wok after seasoning this way.
Why are recipes now using grams directions? I am older and not not care to convert my recipes. None of my recipe books call for grams so it is hard for me to find recipe on RU-vid now that I can follow, too bad they do not have directions for both ways.
I understand your frustration, but I’ve found using grams is more precise when making baked goods. If you go to google and type in convert grams to cups, you will get the measurements you are looking for. Happy cooking!
How important is it to let the wok cool before applying oil? I didn't wait and had an issue with excess oil even though I thought I dried it well with paper towel each time.
Where did you buy that spatula spoon with the clear plastic handle? I had one and it was the best but I broke it. I don’t remember where I got it but can’t find one like it anywhere. I’m getting a large collection of new ones looking for one as good as it was with no luck.
Okay, I thought you mentioned in your presentation another Ninja unit that takes hot liquid. My mistake, I tried researching which Ninja blender would take hot liquid and I couldn’t find one, so it makes sense now that you were referring to your Oyster brand blender.
Amazing Bread...my family are asking me to make it everyday 👍🏻 Thank you for such a great recipe. I don't divide it, I just put it in a loaf tin and the results are soft and delicious everytime so far. 🥰

Wow, Uncle Bill! You've ripped the pączki recipe straight form Jenny Jones's "Jenny Can Cook" channel to a T......well, in every way except you dusted them in powdered sugar instead of granular sugar. You're so clever! Have you done that with all your recipes?
@UncleBillsKitchen I don't understand it. Yeast is new. I agree with the rise time though. I don't think it let's it rise enough. Do you know if i can pause it to let it rise longer?
@@UncleBillsKitchen Right Sam's Club have it listed as DB751A. But it shouldn't matter where, if it's the same Product and Model, the Part # Should be the same... ?? 🤔🤔🤔
