i just got an FE it has the stock poppet and black nozzle, i was thinking on change the nozzle to the amped purple nozzle and add the lighning banjo, did you think im goin to change my dp when i do the chnages?
I’ve bought the Maxx M4E and for me they are bad hop units, BBs are pushed too high into to the unit due to the wee concave space at the top they’ve made to keep the BBs in place, BBs are not sitting aligned with the nozzle that making a very inconsistent fps and side to side BBs flight. Tried to install it in different ways, AEG and HPA but still the same. You can hear the nozzle is struggling to push the BBs due to that concave hole design. Customer service seems to be dead as I’ve contacted them regarding this and no answer🤷🏻♂️.
Very strange. I've never experienced something like this in my tests. Quite opposite - i have very consistent bb placement in front of the nozzle and fps readings.
Wolf advantages over F2: + ridiculously air efficient; + nozzle with no wobble; + you can easily fine tune the nozzle length; + adjustable speed of the nozzle forward movement (bb loading force); + nozzle & poppet movement timings doesn't depend at all on input air pressure, your engine will perform in the same way on 50 PSI and on 120 PSI; + different gun profiles in FCU with easy switch between your CQB, assault or DMR roles; + magnetic trigger and optical selector sensor (no fragile microswitches); + lower sound profile. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- F2 advantages over Wolf: + cheaper than Wolf; + cheap and accessible spare parts - trigger board, FCU (P* TB - 30 EUR, FCU - 90 EUR, Wolf TB+FCU - 230 EUR, Programming unit - 85 EUR); + you can mount it in gearbox shells other than V2; + you can use it with bluetooth FCUs like Gorilla or Gate Titan II HPA. Performance wise there's no significant differences. They both shoot great.
hi, tried to replicate your build, have couple of questions, did you used a Teflon tape mod? Cant get a delrin nozzle, do you recon its critical fore this mod? have you moded MGW, i mean extra 0.1mm rings and ect
Hi. No, no PTFE tape mod is needed. The white delrin nozzle isn't crucial, you can use the stock black v1 nozzle. The only mod needed is sanding down a 0.1 mm from the Flamingo lips because it's 15.5 mm long and ML Wonder that was used in MGW design is 15.4 mm. That's all.
this is incredible! im about to build my first HPA gun with a p* F2 engine, i have a max hop up unit, and a retroarms hop up unit, and i have a prometeus 6.03 inner barrel, wich one do you recomend me to use, plus, what bucking do you recomend me to use! Its gonna be a DMR build. thank you so much and great video!!
@@NikolayDimitrovFisher great! i dont know if my promy barrel its the old gen, but its EG for sure, i can find the super macaron blue, and the hard concave nub, you mean the metal one right?. i case of buying a craze yet maple leaf inner, what do you recomende me? (for the same build, F2, max model hop up and DMR build) thanbk you so much for the response!
@@NikolayDimitrovFisher hello again brother!, i just bough a Rhop for my prommy inner 6.03mm, what bucking did you recomend me and what nub? i have the maxx model hop up and retroarms too, or you are still prefering the super macaron with the hard concave nub? thanks!!
@@stephger1925 with 35 mm lens every insignificant move is amplified in scope cam frames. Even the vibrations from shots. This is not a lab test. But for my purpose it's more than enough.
@@stephger1925 Why the criticism? I rather see testing in normal conditions. I use the Alpha with super MR 70 and black nub without R-hop in the standard MTW barrel. This weekend with 0.30 BB shooting arround 60m with out any issue. Do thinking of upgrading the barrel to a PDI 6.08
Hey mate! Did you have to cut off this bucking side wing ? Or this chamber have special cut for it inside ? How does it work, I can't find any info about that
No. It requires a unbridged barrel with AEG side cuts for the C-clip like Maple Leaf Crazy Jet, ML hybrid barrels or Stalker Morpheus. And it works only with GBB buckings.
@@danielarturodebernardogome832 in my MTW Maxx MGW with Stalker Morpheus and Stalker R-hop patch and sleeve bucking (or Flamingo) works better than any regular AEG bucking. I avoid recommending anything. I prefer to post my results and let everyone decide for themselves if they like them and would like to try something similar in their replica.
@@NikolayDimitrovFisher have been trying lately the 4UANTUM new aeg bucking. Getting pretty good results 7x7 cm grouping at 30M. Will be for sure trying what you told me, as I already have the m4g…
You can order it from McMaster - www.mcmaster.com/5109K31/ and cut the piece you need. And you have to modify the stock arm to glue the nub. It's the same nub that comes pre-installed in Maxx M4W/MXW/MGW. photos.app.goo.gl/9HY1Dyf29rvGNHLQ9 photos.app.goo.gl/HdRde2W1tG9tTpPi9
@@marcoviebrock1550 i wouldn't say it's noticeable that much to substantiate spending 90 EUR for it if you already have a good working combo. Definitely M4G shows more consistent FPS readings on chrono. Also with M4G and GBB buckings you have more predictable and flatter shots. IMHO the only AEG hopup combo that can compete with M4G is R-hoped barrel with flathoped Madbull 'red' in M4E. But R-hop is PITA for install and fine tuning.
It's not actually an open bolt mode. More like an AEG mode - the F2 nozzle is forward biased and cycles to load the bb after the trigger pull. I can easily achieve consistent accuracy with Cbof and properly tuned dr (return to battery delay) setting since the hopups are designed to work with this mode.
So I buyed it. With pdi precision, it doesn’t work. First problem is the barrel is bridged, it’s tough to install. All the bucking is stretching. Need to delete bridge. Also fits with bridged barrel if I insert ML bucking. So I installed one with rhop. Inside bucking I deleted the whole thing + Snipetor r hop patch (works perfectly in my Ssg24, ssg10). First 40 meters laser trajectory, than goes wild. 0.48 longbow BBs on 3.3 joules (dmr sr25)
@@OleksiySynergy the trolley position in MGW/M4G hopups is aligned with the patch of the GBB bucking in unbridged barrel. The crucial things for accurate shots are the lips resistance (especially for HPA where the nozzle loads the bb with more force compared to the bolt action snipers), the consistent nub pressing and the consistent bb placing inside of the bucking before being fired.
Yes. Without cutting it you can't fit the bucking. And you need to sand a little from the X-Range lips so you can lock the C-clips. Modify bucking is ~16mm long. Maple Leaf buckings are 15.4 mm.
@@acecustombuilds no, the brass ring is for Maple Leaf buckings. Flamingo is 15.5 mm, 0.1 mm longer than ML Wonder that was used in hopup design, so you may need to sand just a little bit from its lips if it's too difficult to lock the C-clip.
In my experience - the ability of M4P to be fine tuned to the nozzle length *and* magazine bb entry in wide variety of M4 receiver + not stock shell combos that are typical for custom HPA setups. Performance wise they're the same.
On this set up does the Maxx chamber and barrel combo fit the Maple Leaf 2023 MR GBB/VSR (50°) bucking? It would be great if you could do this set up on 1.1j (350fps 0.2g bbs) to see if you can reach this range or further on 0.48g bbs.
I don't have ML MR 2023 GBB/VSR but i could use other good buckings. I'm thinking for a while about tests on 1.1 J. It would be interesting to see the results although I rarely play on our CQB fields and we're limited - we can use up to 0.30g bbs.
@@NikolayDimitrovFisher To be fair I'm in the UK so full auto limited is 1.1j while DMR is 1.88j and bolt actions are 2.32j so I was interested if the you could get the same range as DMR and bolt action on 1.1j with a heavy 0.48g bb. This is theoretically possible but would be nice if its true in the real world as well. On the bucking I wanted to know if the the Maxx unit can put in the GBB bucking that have the extra rubber sticking out like the Maple Leaf MR GBB/VSR bucking, or if you would have to shave it down, or it just doesn't fit as I cant find definitive answer even after asking Maxx directly as i would be looking to buy one if you can as the big flat r-hop on bridgeless barrels is amazing. Thank you in advance.
@@NikolayDimitrovFisher Update I will have the gun (MTW Unleased 7inch) very soon with the Maxx MGW, using Maple Leaf 220 mm Crazy Jet 6.04mm with the Maple Leaf MR 2023, using 0.48g bbs. I let you know how it goes after 20th July.
@@NikolayDimitrovFisher Managed to get my build done and tested on the 20th. MTW unleashed, Crazy jet barrel 220mm, MR Hop rubber 50 (green) VSR with the MAXX MGW Hop unit. Using 0.48g at 1.07j I was managing to get an effective range of 70m about max range of 80/85m on a non windy day.
Quick question, does the standard VSR type Maple leaf crazy jet barrel fits the MGW, or should I get a special versioon for it, such as the maple leaf hybrid barrel?
Yep. R-hop is crucially dependent on bucking lips tension and nub softness and even pressure. With Alpha i have good shots trajectory only with 50° or softer nubs.
