Was just out of range of Totality myself, but got about 95% and I’m hooked! Already planning to fly out somewhere in the next few years to see one properly! Crazy to think that the next time an eclipse rolls around to the US, l’ll probably be able to share it with my kid(s) as well!
I'm so glad you two got to share this amazing experience together. I was a mile up on my paramotor for this eclipse. I also saw your paramotor eclipse video. Epic stuff!!
This video is wonderful. Just as magical as your previous Eclipse video. Great footage, great camera angles.. I've taken instruction in a Piper Warrior, here in the UK with my young daughter in the back seat. Sharing the wonders of flight with our children is a very special thing indeed. Thanks for taking us along for the ride 😊
Ben… that was incredible! The time with your son will go with you always. I went to see totality with my son 2017 near St. Louis and we still talk about it. Your shots were incredible. I have some from southern Illinois this time. Thank you!
Thank you! I tried to copy myself by flying with my son this year (in a plane), but I don’t think I can compare to 2017. Watching his reaction was the best part this time around. I’ll still post the video when I get a chance to edit it.
@@benyonker The best part of the paramotor flight is that you cut the engine and glided throughout the eclipse. You really captured the silence of the event in a powerful way. I'm still looking forward to your flight with your son!
@@RockinRobbins13 Hiya. I totally agree. There are a couple of videos of Paramotors in this year's Eclipse. Bad music and squeels of excitement have ruined them for me. This video totally captures the absolute AWE of one of the most beautiful events on our World ❤
First of all, Amazing Video! I am looking at flying in OH for the eclipse on Monday and someone sent me this vid when mentioned it on FB. Secondly, and this is pretty awesome, I am pretty sure I was the guy lighting off fireworks in your video from 2017! My family and I watched from a field near White House TN (just east of Springfield) and we lit off 4-5 big ones! HA! Cheers!
Another excellent vid, where *do* you find the music? (rhetorical question) I also like risk and reward, though you were ofc a bit outside the safety envelope we're all taught... But something I noticed, you previously were flying a spyder 3, now a scirocco 2. Would you care to give your thoughts on those two wings, what you liked and didn't, that sort of thing? Thanks!

Alan Kinsella I have the e-start and highly recommend it. There is naturally going to be some vibration with any 2-stroke motor. I don’t think it’s too bad on the Nitro, though, and there isn’t much you can do about it anyway!
