WoW! Thank you so much for the info. This saved me such a Headache trying to google the differences and what route I am suppose to take. I really do not want to get my RE License so I am going the DFPI route. Thanks a ton!
Hi Samatha, Aaron, thank you for this amazing info. I am looking forward to the course. I am based in the UK, after completing the course, is there scope for me to work remotely from the UK?
Illinois does not have a minimum credit score for licensing. Ideally you want decent credit but usually the item that will keep you from licensing is open tax liens.
hah I got my degree in Sport Management too probably wasnt a good idea lol but your videos inspiring! I do phone sales right now was thinking about getting my MLO
heading into retirement and looking for something to do remotely... I'm thinking this could be it! looking forward to learning a new skill. Thanks for sharing

I just received this email? "We are unable to approve your request. Effective July 2024, the administration of the National Test has been restored to pre-COVID policies and requires test candidates who do not have a medical need to test in person."
When Covid was taking place they approved the ability to take the test from home but have since restored the old requirement to take the test at the testing center. There are over 500 centers Nationwide so finding one should be fairly simple if you go to the pro metric website and search for a test center. If you need assistance, feel free to call us at 317-566-0425
@@MyMortgageTrainerInc So I can't take it from home? I did the real estate agent test from home in March and I live more than an hour away from the testing center.
Need more info on this career, feel free to call us at 317 566 0425 or visit us at www.mymortgagetrainer.com, we would be happy to help you and introduce you to a future employer.
We have many clients hiring Nationwide that we would be happy to make a free introduction. Otherwise it would be the typical job posting sites. If you take the course and pass the exam, we can set you up with some interviews with companies that can support you. Feel free to reach out at 317 566 0425.
Glad it was helpful! Let us know if you have additional questions or need any state specific education to get an additional license. We are here to serve. 317 566 0425
Thanks for the feedback, did you take the pre licensing course with us at My Mortgage Trainer? If so, you should have a study guide and study plan as well as access to the coursebook and test Outline. If you do not have these, and took the course with us, please reach out to us so we can provide them. Our office number is 317 566 0425
This is by far the worst thing I have ever seen,,horrible,,nobody can draw the same thing twice,,1 star reviews. So frustrating. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE
We 100% agree with you! The entire process is ridiculous! Using a mouse to draw figures is like using a fork to eat soup....it doesn't make sense! Keep in mind, this has nothing to do with us, this is a requirement put in place by the NMLS who contracted with a 3rd party and then forced everyone to use it. We think giving 1 stars is too generous!
Some states, like NC have minimum score requirements, however TX is not one of those states. Typically open tax liens are the biggest challenge to overcome for licensing.
You do not need a sponsor to go through the process, you will need one to activate the license prior to starting to originate loans. We have plenty of companies who are hiring and can an introduction once you have passed at no cost.
Need additional Study Help? Look at our Test Prep Plus Program where you can sit through the live refresher as many times as you need to feel prepared: mymgtr.com/product/test-prep-plus-package/
So based on what you’re saying, if I already have a Real Estate license and just wanted to also do the loan portion too for my clients, I just need to get the DRE licensing for it right?
Yes, you would need to provide an ABA disclosure upfront and there are a few other nuances but mostly, yes. There is a 20 hour class you must take of course to get the license and then you would need an employer sponsor. Feel free to call the office if you have additional questions at 317 566 0425 and anyone can assist you.
