The only evolution is: the evolution of a world that will not accept gay people and come to comprehend that gay people are born to be gay and there is nothing they can do to change it! In my 88 year life, I have seen this evolution happening. The key to this is the general reluctance of young people to enter the doors of a church. The better part of gay non-acceptance is tied up with the Christian Church that lives in the sin zone: gay is sin! I give Christianity ten years!
I wonder what scientist make of incest, pedophilia, and bestiality? I know incest was observed in some species, but I'm not sure if they've ever found animals who will try to mate with prepubescent young or with a completely different animal.
I don't know about incest, but pedophilia and beastiality/zoophilia are paraphilias, that have also been observed to have some kind of genetic component

Evolution created homosexuality as a method of population control! As the number of humans on the planet skyrockets, the number of out LGBTQ people has as well.

I am wondering if there's been a research where they observe a kid whose one of their parents has homosexual genes (idk what to call them lol) and see if they turn out to be homosexual that would be a really interesting research
If the alleles of a gene are different, one allele will be expressed; it is the dominant gene. The effect of the other allele, called recessive, is masked. It's the same reason why if your parents have different coloured hair, you aren't born with a mix of both. One gene is recessive. You can actually use a punnett square to measure the likelihood of a certain gene coming through. It's quite interesting.

Basically If the gene from your mother and father are different from one another; let's just say your dad has black hair and your mum has blond hair, Then instead of mixing the genes to make a new one, you will instead have a dominant gene. (lets say it's your dads black hair) You will be born with black hair but you may also have the gene that contains the blond hair. This is known as a recessive gene. This gene is basically not activated in you. You may still have it, but it will not effect you. However It may affect your children if you ever have any. They might be born with blond hair unlike you or your partner. So the long short is that genes don't mix, but they may lay dormant in someone. This is why, if you or your partner has a "gay gene" but you are both strait you might have a child that's gay. Hope this clears things up. Also it's been like, 3 years since I had a biology class, so I might have gotten some things wrong.
Humans are animals. We’re smarter animals but animals nonetheless. As the video explains, if you actually watched it, being gay is not a choice, so belittling people because of it when it doesn’t hurt anyone is very unethical. I don’t think your god would appreciate you judging others based on a non harmful thing that they can’t change.
It has to have something to do with youre childhood. for example im straight but i didnt even knopw gay people existed until i was like 13 which is when i already knew i liked girls or i already had an inate atraction. maybve if it gets normalised to you, you might just grow up that way.

@@plumpdino5476 There's a lot of genetic traits we can't read that are congenital, autism for example. I realized I was gay very early in life (compared to others I've spoken with) and it was highly shunned in my community and family growing up in the 90s. Being that young and realizing you need to keep this huge secret from your family is terrifying for a child, it really messed me up for a long time. I was lucky I had such a great family, they all totally came around when I came out later but them being so loving almost made it worse before that as I was so afraid to disappoint them. Honestly if it is genetic (and from my personal experience, it seems obvious that it is), the best thing you can do if you disapprove of homosexuality is normalize it. This would stop people from forcing themselves into straight relationships in order to survive, which often leads to those genes passing on when they otherwise would not. In this scenario, homophobia would actually create more gay people over time.

I think that comes down to sexuality being a spectrum. This video only really focussed on gay people because there are more studies about male homosexuality.

It’s funny because in my family we have a strong lineage of bisexual and lesbian women. Definitely see it being a passed down trait. Also end up taking care of each others kids a lot.

I think a lot of it might have to do with just pure fun. Women know what other women want after all, and visa versa, it’s essentially a way to have unlimited fun without any risk of unwanted pregnancy, even before contraceptives.
