I just found your channel and I’m currently building out my mics for my new drums. You have help a lot with that indie dry sound I want on my kit. Thank you Reed. I wish you all of the success in the world. -Golden Street Hippies.
You get these rich tones out of heads that look like theyd just make a thud. I've got a small amount of experience drum micing and recording, very small, and I get what's happening. It just sounds really good when you do it.
cant imagine how strenuous it would've been to make this, being in time and playing the same thing with the right config and everything. how long did all this take to record and mix?
