Great video! I’m in the process of rebuilding my left side front fender mount! Quite a large piece, so I’ll try some ABS pipe split and flattened then molded under heat and bonded with ABS cement. Thanks for the info!
I'm late to your good bye. I've been absent from riding for years and enjoyed traveling the country, though there were some lethal people on the road "back then" also. I've been thinking of returning to biking, but you, my sons, my wife, and my logic screams at me DON'T DO IT. Riding gave me more pleasure than anything ever has (wife excepted of course), so it's hugely disappointing to not return.
ok so.... you said right away how they "took apart a goldwing and copied it" Then the next thing was its not a 6 cyl engine, they built a all new 8 cyl engine and built a bike around it. That is NOT COPYING ANYTHING... You just admitted it is al all new design and yes, it is designed to compete with Goldwing, a Japanese company run by the same family that murdered millions of ppl in WWII.... but now its all ok right? You might find out that this company makes amazing bikes and not the china crap of cheap companies.... Just might.... .
It doesn't matter if it's the best bike out there, if we ever want to see the world change, we have to stop supporting these Communist. By our patronage we give credence to the lies that Mao Tse Tung told the Chinese people.
@GoldwingDocs Re using automotive coolant in terms of principal, different model bike, though reference to that and your pump failing, the caveat maybe you hadnt't clarified, the potential that that coolant you had used, was not specifically silicate free? Just to clarify your experience and likelihood of root cause in that incident?
The narrator isn't describing the accident correctly at all. Here's what seems to be happening, which really only has to do with countersteering indirectly. 1. Rider enters the curve and realizes he's going too fast and starts applying front brake. 2. Rider spots truck and likely squeezes the front brake a little harder and the front tire begins to wash out. 3. Rider releases the front brake 4. The bike starts wobbling. Ryder loses control of his throttle and starts alternately applying more throttle and then less throttle as the right handlebar oscillates away from him and toward him. 5. Rider likely stops trying to steer to the right because of the wobble which he doesn't know how to deal with. 6. The bike drifts into the path of the truck and collides.
Bull corn , I just went to that sight , and After I filled out payment from it told me there would be a $45 dollar membership fee . I just wanted a spare really for a GL 1500 not wanting a membership.
My 2024 street glide is still behind gw and this beast features. Hd is always last to innovate. But the German ceo is going to kill hd with going woke this month.
It looks "exactly like a Goldwing". lol Why pay for innovation and development when you can just steal/copy it? I wouldn't take it if you gave it to me.
I think the only thing that needs to be worked out is, who makes the best tyre, as of what ply, beading for a tubeless are pretty much going to have a consistency.. if it's a polyester or a nylon. Why have them, because they have a longer life than a bike tyre. Just don't drink, it doesn't make any one a better person or richer, the only people that get richer are the people who are selling it, and they all think their better than you because 80% of them don't drink.. because why would they dink their money away when you can do it and give it to them.
Copying... NOT Innovating... Gee, I think I remember a country called Japan started out doing THAT decades ago😂😂😂 And HOW did THAT Work Out???...😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I get cafe racer magazine. Some time ago did a build and one thing did was install a brake master cylinder made by a Chinese company. Finished bike and went home for the night with plans for a photo shoot the next day. The master cylinder leaked all over the gas tank, not from a crack, or poor installation, but the master cylinder was leaking through the sides of said cylinder. I am very suspicious of chinas quality control
my wife and I own two GL1800 Goldwings. I feel bad for Honda having to deal with a Goldwing clone, but didn't Honda make clones of Harley Davison bikes also. 🫤
