someone told me me wanting to go away from the country i lived at the time will not make me happy because i apparently "wanted to escape my inner deamons". now i live in this country for 4 years and couldnt be happier. i hated my former country and YES it was the people
Last year I went in December. Few lines anywhere. My next trip is in January . Better prices, shorter lines. Ciao. PS: Its a lot hotter here in Los Angeles!
We just finished 4 days there and it was fabulous! Wonderful hidden gem. We found it much better than the other Cinque Terre villages as there were so few tourists. A bit tricky to get to due to no train and very limited and frustrating street parking. (I think park in La Spezia and take the bus). Great video!
Strasbourg is in the northeast of France. I was there two weeks ago. Gorgeous but heavily commercialized. It is nothing in comparison to every village I visited in the Alsace region…. Stayed in Colmar at the La Maison des Testes (historical!) during my visit and used that as my base to see almost every picturesque village of the Alsace region. Took the train from Colmar to Strasbourg (30 minute ride) and spent the day there, took the river cruise to top it all. That side of France is amazing! ❤
PLEASE, ANSWER MY QUESTION I want to study in urology rezidenture in Italy, I study mbbs program in nonEU country. Do I have to apply to Medicine and surgery for this?
Heyy, i have a question about applying and prioritizing the universities. So if i have applied in one university and in the exam thats my first priority, and i have to choose my second priority as padua, would i have to apply to it as well?
Had to turn the video off after the millionth time complaining of crowds…in a touristy destination in peak season 🙄. The ‘crowds’ you show are nothing. Definitely nothing compared to Venice in summer.
A couple (American Tourists) had their bag snatched on a train I was on from Roma Termini - Florance main. They noticed about half way through the trip when the dad went to grab something out of his bag he put in an overhead. They deduced that pickpockets were on the train acting like passengers, they took his bags basically right after they put them in overhead storage acting like they were putting their bags up there too, then they got off the train. Stay safe out there people. Italy does not care enough about tourists to actually dole out harsh penalties for pickpockets and street scammers.
I am the author of Traveling the World on Social Security and the publisher of the Budget Retirement Options and I agree, slow travelers are not being honest. And the worst part is they are not explaining that digital nomads can have months with little to no income. What people don't realize is these promoters have six or seven figures in the bank. The rest of us, are retired and get monthly retirement income. Slow travel works for people who are ready for it and prepared for it. I travel the world full-time, slowly, on a budget. Enjoyed your video. Tks.
Stop saying "You guys", bloody annoying and incorrect. Stop learning English from RU-vid videos and stop trying to sound American. Girls and women are not guys!
My wife and I were in Lyon for a copuple of days. The city was absolutely beautiful but the food was terrible. We had to look for Mcdonalds to get some familiar cuisine. Highly recommended city to visit in France.
Hello, Thanks to you for your informative video. I am digital worker. I performed at 2 companies in online. What way I will apply? Are you help me about this matter?
I look at slow travel as staying in one spot until you’re ready to move on. It could be 1 month or 1 year or more. It just the freedom to move around if you want, when you want.
Slow travel is probably better for those who are retired of if still working online maybe plan your stay for longer at different places like maybe 6 months to a year.
I am italian, my wife is hungarian, I was born in italy, from Turin in the north, near the Alps, I lived there nearly 30 years in a few different regions, then lived in UK 15 years, in Belgium 12 years (no, i didnt escape, just wanted to explore) traveled extensively worldwide and guess what? Im currently picking a cheap home in the country in central Italy because we are going back there in 2025, to stay, even though getting huge paycuts and uncertain future, you do the maths. I agree on the fact that if you are unhappy for reasons others than the place, the people and the weather where you live, you have to sort that out before, because moving anywhere not gonna solve the problem, but thats just obvious. But by any means if you want friendlier people, astounding quality and variety of food and cooking, low prices, incredible locations with some of the best sea and mountain places ever, better weather, quieter lifestyle, loads of history and different cultures and places to explore go to italy because there is actually nothing better that includes all that. All european countries have plus and minuses, you just need to adapt and value what you get, because in Europe we are all extremely lucky as we have loads of opportunities, social services are decent, its fairly healthy and clean, crime is not crazy, as it can be in USA or Africa for example, even tough is not getting any better . You can buy beautiful homes for peanuts and if you are not intending to live like a superstar and you are happy with exploring the country and living simply spending little money, thats very much possible. Also living like a superstar is possible, its all up to you. A word of advice, always ask locals for info about anything, dont guess or assume, Italians love pontificating (even the term comes from latin) so they can be helpful :), watch for pickpockets and don't assume zebra crossings will give you any priority over traffic, because its not the case :) but thats just being street wise and that is necessary anywhere you go, and for whoever is brainwashed about the fact that if you have a different skin colour you wont be accepted, it couldnt be more false. Italians can be very nasty to people that despise italy, dont want to integrate and dont support the country, if you are nice and do your part you will be our brothers and sisters, no matter what.
Well, the killings of the monster of Florence, never took place really into the city of Florence, all were miles away in the country..and he wasn't even the first Italian serial killer.. But the most famous for sure..
