One con after a lifetime here is the property management companies. Take pictures and document everything you can. Pictures before and all communication. They well take you to court. Lie like H E double hockey sticks to get more money out of you. They will sue you and NEVER give your deposit back. They are all thieves. They use this method to generate another source of income. Worst people I've seen.
What the heck, now you can buy wine and alcoholic beverages in Cedar city? Ba city in the 1969-1970 one had to go down to St. George to buy booze. It is a beautiful place though!
Hey Sherrie - thanks for letting us know about your listing! Brokers are actually prohibited from advertising other agents' listings without authorization. I can speak in general terms about an area, but can only advertise properties that are listed at my office.
Never thanked you for giving us the list of new construction in Cedar City. Thanks Jenny! We like the Trails at Shurtz Canyon. Need to visit their floor plans again. Good video, very informative
Hi Jennie, My husband and I are from out of state and want to buy a home for our permanent residence in St George, UTAH. We started working with our agent before the new rules about a Buyer's Agent came down. I had a lot of questions and was hesitant to sign it, mainly for the reasons you brought up. Thank you for your excellent and concise review and explanation of this document. Buying this home will probably be the largest purchase we have ever made or will ever make, and we only want to work with someone we are confident has the information and expertise to cover our backs. Reading this agreement the first time, all I saw were the clauses that protected the broker- some how I missed the fiduciary duty section. I am a fiduciary in my line of work, so I take that very seriously. Again, thank you. Deborah W. Ellis
Hi Deborah! Thanks so much for watching - we're planning a new video that will explain the changes that have happened since the NAR settlement. Watch for that in the next couple of weeks!
Hi Lisa- the prices include a standard lot. There are some lots that have a premium on them due to size and location, and that would be additional. The standard lots are included in the pricing. Happy to send you details!
Regarding the NAR Settlement, as a consumer, I'm always looking for the "Best Deal," but at what cost? If this is a "get-what-you-pay-for proposition, " it is probably not worth it. I have seen A+ real estate offices offer commission rates as low as 5%, so if this is the standard by which they can operate AND make a profit, I'm all for it. Just my thoughts... See you on Thursday, Jennie.
Tyvek is made by DuPont and it has been around since the late 60's. The painter was wearing Tyvek overalls in this video as well. All builders should be using Tyvek.
Too bad they did hideous modern elevations 🤮 Air BNB?!! No wonder they are not selling. Hopefully the division goes belly up and the builder rethinks this development before it ruins Cedar City.
How cool are those animations?! This subdivision is gonna be good. Text/call for information on lot availablity - Phase 1 is gonna go FAST so be sure to get on the list! 435.590.1426
