I'm a Dad, film maker, former coffee shop owner, and martial artist. I'm on a journey to become a great film maker, using what I know, to make affordable advertisement videos for small businesses, while perfecting my screen writing and film making skills. I have been in the coffee industry since 2008, and practicing martial arts since I was a teenager. I have always loved cinema, and started film making in 2016 when there was a horror film festival in my town. "The Grind House Venture" was my first film making experience. I just dont understand how to have a mirror, a light and mic. How are the light and mic connected to the stick/tripod ? I dont wanna buy stuff that isnt compatible or are the accessories universal with shoe clips and 1/4 screws? Plus new phones dont have an aux jack.

The PGY selfie stick has paper thin construction on the tripod. It's going to break trust me! Too bad its not bad otherwise. The head can be tightened by pushing the pin All the way in.
I haven't tried any yet. But there is a chance we add that in as an option that we sell with our kit. We are currently developing a 2x lens with a really cool system that may open up an opportunity for a range of interchangeable lenses. Keep your eye out for my video when we are about to launch.
@EddieStudios thanks for clearing that up. I thought mine was defective or something. Not many reviews about it on RU-vid. Wish dji could clear that out since it's pretty expensive to begin with.
With this rig I think you could also put some type of tripod exenstion to get the Osmo Pocket up higher for walking videos, i.e., much taller , especially using Mimo app on the phone. But for real estate and outdoors, great rig as you have it here.
Great video. Thats a cool little lens. Astrophotograpy is the main thing I do. I know the lens isn't suited to it but I would give it a try anyway. Otherwise i would use it for family portraits and street.
The software is so annoying and impossible to connect the Osmo Pocket 2. Quick resolution is to use a direct connection with usb-c. WORKS LIKE A CHARM 💪🏻
It sits at f11, so it's not too hard with regular filming. I have had to break the 180 shutter rule some. I do usually shoot in 60p on brighter days so I'm not breaking it too much, as well as giving me the capability to slow it down. For the long exposure, I did hold an ND over the lens.

This is a nice idea, although I'm not necessarily seeing the usefulness of a telephoto lens for this particular camera. The trouble with lens attachments for the Pocket 3 is that they can foul the gimbal if you're not extra, extra careful. This is the biggest flaw with the Pocket 3, IMO. I like the camera well enough, but it's most suited for low-key handheld vlogging, rather than situations where I'd find a telephoto lens useful. Nonetheless, I do hope you can realize your idea before a multi-million dollar corporation pulls the rug out from under you on it.
It seems like everyone finds their best use scenarios for their cameras. You may be right on the vlogging aspect for a lot of people for sure. I myself can't stop figuring out ways to use mine. Hi friend. Please help me fin a solution for this problem.I use the Mimo app with my DJI Osmo SE, but I'm experiencing an issue where the recorded video output doesn't match what I see on the screen. The screen view appears bright, but the recorded video is automatically captured with lower light levels.
I'm not sure. The only thing I might suggest is to turn your screen brightness down. That way it would feel more accurate to what you're getting. Use your histogram to monitor exposure. Dji does have a help option on their site where you can message them.

The problem people are having with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is that it lacks a Z-axis gimble so when you are shooting and walk there is an up and down bobbing motion, kinda like a video game. Amazon sells a cheap Z-axis stabilizer which improves this bobbing motion but does not get rid of it. If you can think of a gadget to solve this problem let us know. I bet the Osmo Pocket 4 will include a Z-axis gimble.
Good luck with the production version of this! You'll be a hero of the pocket-3-averse if you can pull it off! Companies like Ulanzi have so far thrown up their hands, saying it's not possible. Can't wait for you to prove 'em wrong!
UPDATE: Everyone watching this. Since posting this video, I've gained a business partner, and we are working on bringing a top-notch and refined version (A Bespoke 2x Telephoto Lens) for the Pocket 3 to market. We should have sales starting in the next couple of weeks. Keep your eyes open for a video when we launch.
It's definitely not as good, but it's not better than most cameras at that focal distance. Because of this video, I've found a business partner, and we are full steam ahead in creating a refined version that we will be selling. Keep an eye out in the coming weeks for my follow-up video when we launch sales.
