Hi Gary, thanks for this video. In rinnay infinity 17 it's impossible to remove the water inlet, beacause the front pannel avoid removing the filter. Is it necessary to remove the panel? Thanks so much.
My filter was pretty tight so used a needle nose pliers in the manner you showed. The tabs inside the cap both broke off as I was doing this. I think that's a sign that the plastic is getting older and more brittle. Perhaps the filter assembly should be replaced every 5 years or so.
Thank you. Got some coldwater sandwiching, I think it's called, as was hopeful it was just a clogged filter but no. Water pressure is 100 lbs at outside spigot. Onward thru the fog.
It's best to purchase a door designed to combat the heat. Weatherstrip is very important and exterior door units are designed to allow you to remove and maintain the unit over time. Check the door sill. To prevent air from leaking under the door, ask the salesperson if the threshold is adjustable.
seriously!!! I have been looking for info as how to install and replace these torsion springs...DO NOT FOLLOW THIS VIDEO!!! it lacks of explanation and it shows precisely what you should not do!
I cannot believe that you just stuck your bar into the winding cone, loosened the set screws, and then all of a sudden released it.. That is not the proper way to get rid of the spring tension. I'm just glad you didn't get hurt.
I'm sure the novelty will wear off after a while...or after a chunk of metal whacks him upside the head, lol. Those cones are usually cheap cast items.

Nice work Gary. The 2007 NEISS Hospital statistics, that is 8 years ago, had 13,325 injuries. Here is the links.www.garagedoorchildsafety.com/injury_report.html. As for the couple on the motor cycle with the baby wedging in-between they, I cited several infraction including the one injured my eyes. PUT SOME CLOTHS ON WHEN YOU ARE IN THAT SHAPE! OUCH

It has a little to do with (of course) the wrong plumbing setup, but more so that the owner professed to be a handyman - of which he was probably handy - but not a plumber. I'd say he was a half-ass plumber and by saying so (after reading your Google+ Bio) I would lay odds you could relate! At least to the half-ass man part. :)
Raccoon waste is hazardous waste. Many adults and most young raccoons have parasitic eggs in their poop that are or can be a health hazard to humans and other animals. Their Toxo eggs in waste can last for years in soil but will dry up and probably become inactive about 7 months in a hot and dry attic area. Steam and temperature above 140 degrees will also kill eggs. Wear masks and gloves and double bag waste. Waste is not immediately infectious if find fresh. Eggs in poop take a week or two to become infectious. Cause worms to infest bodies of victims and become easier prey for raccoons to catch such animals. 10% of worms from eggs may get to brain or eyes and cause problems there. Be careful around raccoon waste. Boiling water and flame as well as steam works to disinfect gardens or other sites and clothes wearing. Sanitary cycle in some washers go above 140 degrees and some have steam cycle too. Be safe and aware of danger these masked bandits may leave behind. Most raccoon use a "latrine" that multiple raccoons use. Their waste in like dog waste with blunt ends like tootsie rolls. Do not let dogs eat!

"Hey babe - what's that inspector's name again?" ++++++ Folks, there are a few things you should consider "before" the whole house inspection. #MS #home #inspector #BuildItRight
Other than the obvious call for the home inspector, "call a plumber", what is your guess on the cause of this event? Simply a stopped up waste line? #plumbing #drain #BuildItRight

Good job Gary Smith You are so right. There are many problems with heating and cooling equipment. Homeowners usually don't know until it's a more expensive problem.
#1 and #2 of my *TOP TEN* reasons you should periodically inspect your heating and cooling equipment. The video was taken during the summer, but the winter months are equally as important. #TopTen #HomeInspection #maintain #BuildItRight

*Mississippi Mud* A quick search turns up brownies, cake, booze, published books and of course, the Mississippi River. But believe me here, we don't like it under our homes. Joseph, we're at it again with a one acre farm house inspection in rural Hinds County Mississippi. Very hot for September. Machine was bouncing on the heat thermals. Check it out of the channel.
