When Should I Install a French Drain? 

In our local area this “bleeding” is usually found on the down slope of a hillside, in sandy soil.
It’s not toxic, some plants love the iron rich soil but homeowners usually hate it.
If you have this issue on your property there isn’t a better reason, as you’ll see in this video, to call a landscape or soils contractor and have them design a french drain system to manage this water underground.
