Beautiful!! Question though, will the lighting be updated/fixed anytime soon? It's really sad that the lighting inside houses just adapts to the outside lighting. I'd love to be able to have it separated and edit the lighting inside houses without it looking like it's an open roof. 😊
The quality and texture of this game is really good!!💕✨ I wanna play this game so bad with my best friends!!! She will love this one, since we can both play at the same time and create our house and decorate every room; especially our own bedrooms. 😁🥰😍
I Love this!!! Sims 4 doesn't have glass walls, but we can put windows on a curved walls. Still! this is incredible, but I do hope that we can also create a circle wall. 🥺🥺
I miss Life by You it had the best features that made the sims different. I would like to see Vivaland having an open world with pixel censored bars toppled on and off that'll make me want to buy Vivaland in the future 🙏🏾
Maybe you can have like a "party" or "household" system where you can join specific characters into the party. For example if your character gets married to another character of another player that automatically forms a "party" and when they have kids, they will be added to the same party and whoever clicks on the kids can control them. I've seen this concept in some multiplayer games. And also make it possible to play with completely different characters and other parties as well so it's not too limiting. As for aging you can have it as optional, like in the Sims where you age your characters by ordering them a birthday cake so you don't have to worry about how to implement the concept of time in the game with the multiplayer aspect.
This is looking good! The animations are pretty smooth, the characters look nice, the food looks yummy, the background sounds make it feel very lively, keep up the good job! ☺️
All the information about Vivaland sounds good at first. But unfortunately this game isn't for me. Sims 5 will already be online and live service. I would be much, much happier with a good old offline living situation. 😢😢
No There will never be a game to succesfully compete directly with the Sims, I've been saying the same thing for years..This game is a unicorn ten times over. There is a better chance of EA?Maxis vacating the space than something coming along to compete with it. Nearly 100% of the market for any new life simulation entry is going to be a Simmer. If you are pulling in gamers outside of the Simming community chances are the game you created isn't enough like the Sims to be considered competition, ending the conversation right there. Any Game that is close enough is going to be culling a limited portion of the gaming market all comparing your game to the Sims. No if's and or buts about this. Add to all this the fact that it's no longer a game but a service requiring constant updating and patching that's even more overhead most teams can't handle. It's not just about publishing a game if you want to compete with the Sims, its about servicing a very large divivirse and critical fanbase. As large as that market is, it's still considered a niche portion of the Gaming market at large so it is limited. to mostly Simmers. That have no problem telling you what they think of your game, sometimes before they even play it.😛
Who says a new life sim game has to compete directly with the Sims? If a game comes along that's good enough, it will attract players. And even if said game only takes a small fraction of the life sim market, that would be enough to be considered successful given how much money that genre rakes in. (And, seriously, it's not as "niche," i.e. "limited," as you seem to think.) Seriously, people don't know how hungry fans of life sim games truly are. There's a reason Paralives takes in enough Patreon money to pay for a small team of indie devs on top of developing the game itself. There's a reason why any game that has even a hint of life sim elements (Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, Disney Dreamlight Valley) will have a sizeable number of Simmers in their player base. People who like life sim games are desperate for a new one, and are willing to pay. (Seriously, where did this idea come from that people who play the Sims will only ever want to play the Sims, or games *exactly* like the Sims? It's kind of ridiculous.) Life simulation games are a genre. And there's zero reason a bunch of different games can't survive and thrive in that genre, even if the Sims itself stays at the top.
@@DaniJay-fk8qr The question wasn't "Will the Sims be the only life Sim ever released". It was would anything ever compete. Your passionate response perfectly illustrates why this is a tough market to crack. you didn't actually read what I said.. What you read between the lines was "Ii'll never get my wish of the perfect Life Sim Game" There will probably be BETER games down the line. .None of them will compete with the Sims full stop.
@@Unconsciouzone, no, what I read is what you wrote. That you believe no other game will ever be able to compete directly with the Sims. And Simmers are hard to please, and will never give another life sim a real chance. To which I responded that a new life sim doesn't have to compete directly with the Sims. A good game will carve out enough of a market for itself to be successful, even if the Sims is still the big dog on the block. Just like how, in other genres, there tend to be one or two really big games at the top, but a bunch of smaller games that are also successful to various degrees. As for my response being passionate, that's just how my responses tend to be. I don't see what that has to do with the life Sim market being "tough to crack." If anything, I'm passionate about the idea that there's plenty of room in the life sim genre for more than one game to be successful.
@@DaniJay-fk8qr I said "compete directlty" in the very first sentence. You then went on to describe the various ways companies could perhaps grab a slice of the Life Sim market. Doesn't mean they will compete with the Sims Let's not forget in order for a title to be in the same arena it has to do good by CAS LIVE and Building Simmers. There are various ways a company could appraocah a LIFE Sim but unless they are capturing those three distinct playstyles it's not in the same arena. That would be my definition of direct competition and I'm here to tell ya it ain't happenin' I've been typing the same thing since the Ts1 forums...still waiting.
Give players a choice to play single player or multiplayer because if this game is only for multiplayer then it’s going to bomb. Have it where we as players can toggle multiplayer on or off, that will help this game become one of the best new Life Sims after The Sims
Not just have it be togglable, the single player mode needs to actually be good. A lot of multiplayer games rely on most people playing with others and cut gameplay content for single player mode as a result. It's why a lot of simmers are against multiplayer in a life sim.
made game bugfree,so people not complain about this ,a lot of gamers complain about bugs in the sims4 ,avoid this an you can attrack gamer from the sims4 . and you right people are very demanded , to much,no respect for the devs. this big tip i can give you ,avoid bugs, .
I'm so excited to hear there will be a Live Mode demo!! Really looking forward to it! The main thing I'm hoping for is that the single player experience will be fleshed out too.
Life By You had two main issues IMO - being too ambitous, too early and concentrating that ambition in the wrong areas. Failing to meet multiple early access dates didn't help either. So that would be my advice - Don't release anything (or announce dates) until you are 100% certain you can meet them. Along with don't be too ambitious for early access.
Nah. I judge a life sim by its single player offline mode which is why Vivaland, just like Project René, doesn't sound promising at all... to me. If other people enjoy multiplayer online life sims: enjoy yourselves.
I have certanly the curiosity to try it but the people of The Sims 4 have more cartoonish graphics which I prefer. They're too real, they're a bit sad😥. Even in their expressions they're very serious.
