LMAO THIS WAS FUNNY AF Man, I hope you don't play at the lottery or ever go to Vegas It was me talking about fire exit spike trap, Cosco man, you are, indeed, the unluckiest player on Lethal Company Love your videos, keep it up
these videos are one of my favourite things to watch now. i've started attempting my own solo ironman runs now because of you. congrats on 200 subs :))
Fyi giants will slightly chase after light emitting objects such as the aparatus, flashlight, and laser pointer. I watched a video of a giant chasing a laser pointer like a cat. It does mean that having your flashlight on near a giant can draw attention to you
I remember that comment bro, and I honestly don't think that there is a more unfair way to die. With many unfair ways, there's usually some wild trick or reaction time you can use to maybe barely survive, but there's literally nothing one can do here except avoid fire exit.
No clue, I just spam the shit out of my mouse and sometimes it scans faster. Edit: Just realized you meant with the terminal. You just copy "scan" so you can paste it into the terminal Crtl + c to copy Ctrl + v to paste This also works with "switch" so you can swap between teammates on your terminal monitor faster. You can also use it to use the radar booster flash more easily.
out of curiosity, is it gon be a copy paste for every video to minimise time for editing even more? you make cool videos by the way, nice to have in the background or to just turn off my brain and listen
Yeah it's mainly to minimize editing time. This also allows people to more easily share the exact ruleset instead of trying to look for a specific challenge video to get the ruleset from. I also had to change around the wording of one of the rules and to fix the 7th rule.
You can also cheese every enemy on the stairs by jumping up onto the wall beam from the stair landing between the two floors, and then hitting enemies that run to the upper floor to try and hit you
since when was there a rule that you could land on a planet to get the 100% bonus from the company? part of the fun of the challenge was getting enough scrap solo to reach that high quota at 77%
I made it up since Sheff never posted an official Ironman ruleset (afaik) and I wasn't sure how to approach the last week of the challenge. Do you know which video he says this? If this is part of the intended challenge, then I'd like to change the intro.
I found the video "Lethal Company's Hardest Challenge Just Got HARDER. Can You Beat it? (Updated for Version 50)" That's actually so pain he wants you to sell at 77%
Honestly, I would have bought it, but another commenter made a great point a few videos back talking about the amount of money needed and the averages on all of the moons which kinda makes it difficult to afford unfortunately.
@@coscoman3894 I think an exception *maybe* could be made here. It would cost $280, but if you think that it would make you an extra profit of $280 from buying it, it's not only worth it, it's the correct choice. Then it comes down to your jetpack-looting skills.
The main issue I have with holding the text was that I felt it obstructed your view for too long, so I didn't want to annoy people with it. I can definitely hold it for a bit longer so it's easier to read, especially the longer paragraph-style comments.
If you can jump over or on a turret, they will be unable to shoot you. Because the turret was in the middle of the stairs on offense, it would have been relatively easy to jump on it, and then jump to the next level
It's about the journey instead of the destination. One can't even practically upload only wins since the solo Ironman challenge is very difficult and has luck in various areas. This is the equivalent of asking a Geometry Dash player to just upload their wins instead of their practice, or a Minecraft player to just upload their finished builds instead of their building process.
@@justinbrentwood1299 no that would be only showing the moment where you sell to meet the artifice quota, when a speedrunner or world record holder grinds for multiple weeks on end they show their record along with a couple highlights from previous runs, in one video i just think this is milking it
@@tenenlikker9631 with the amount of fails this challenge takes, this man would have literally zero content if he did what you're suggesting. if you don't like it, move along to another lc youtuber instead of complaining about how you don't like this one
Most likely all of them, I've literally tried this over 60 times and v50 has just been a major pain to beat. I would genuinely prefer being able to consistently being able to complete the challenge to provide some form of help to others in beating it and improving in the game. If the run is just unwatchable, I probably won't upload it. These videos are also meant to be created in a "playthrough" format so it's easier to engage with those watching, and I can get some helpful advice from commenters. I literally do not have enough views or subscribers to monetize these videos, nor do I plan on making a Patreon or anything like that for a good while. I will probably be making highlights of these runs at some point.
Yeah, but I've lost half my runs to some of the most braindead plays of my life, and I'm sure I'd find a way to activate that landmine and ruin my run lol.
I honestly can't find the part of the vid you're talking about, and it was probably just because I didn't think about it on my part. So just a bad play in general I would assume.
I watch your videos and noticed you normally die in a kind of stupid or risky way most of the time, and so I learn with each video, the way you think and plan the runs is really good and I also either adopt or adapt your strategies, overall I really enjoy your videos, but this run was straight up unfair at the end, what the heck was that? The most bs unfair thing I've seen in this game so far was another youtuber entering Fire Exit and got killed immediatly by a ceiling trap, and I think yours is up there next to spike trap right above Fire Exit
Delusion, probably. More specifically, the bracken room does not spawn loot in a radius around it, but other "loot rooms" do. That alone sometimes allows weird edge cases where scrap will spawn in rooms it's not supposed to. That's why you'll see a "loot room" next to a maze/brick hallway and the loot spawned in the hallway. The bracken room is also *always* a dead end so it's harder to get anything to spawn in there unless you were lucky. This all basically is to say that the dopamine from getting lucky goes hard. Fun fact, there are no AI nodes in that room so literally no enemy will wander in there unless you yourself baited it into the room.
Do you mean with terminal scan or the player HUD scan? With the terminal I don't feel much since I'm unsure if I'm even going to get 50% back. The player scan is always a dopamine hit, especially on the t1 moons.
I don't sell everything for 2 reasons: A) It keeps the 2nd quota low and doesn't force me to need as much scrap value. B) When selling a higher value on the 2nd quota I'll get a higher overtime bonus than I would on the 1st quota, because I have more items from playing on the t2 moons. They mainly go hand in hand as for why I'd rather not sell everything on 1st quota.
@@zapp485 His point B is valid though. The overtime bonus formula has a flat -15 at the end of it, which only gets applied once if you sell everything at the second quota. I ran the numbers with an example, and it checks out. You get more money for selling everything at quota 2 instead of 1. It wasn't by much, but it was notable.
You should use the imperium mod to practice killing thumpers and maybe even 1v1ing dogs (And killing that nutcracker woudlve been nice, you can get 4 shotguns hots if you do it perfectly, and shotguns make more shotguns)
@@coscoman3894 It is yeah, really an amazing training tool, you can no damage thumpers, spiders, nutcrackers (Very important to kill, even ignoring the shotgun, theyre fantastic support for the other mosnters) even dogs with enough practice in it, though 1v1ing a dog i struggle with
Once you regen out of critical health, you get two shot by a thumper, but it is dangerous nonetheless. Also, it is much easier to kill a thumper by backing around a corner to your right than it is to kill one in a straight away
If you're allowed to go to the company at any point, I also think it has to be restricted to only going there with the intention of buying/selling. Going to the company building counts as a day (just not towards deadline) which changes and updates current moon weather conditions once the game saves and you leave that save file.
