Cosco do you got any tips to be able to play alone? I always get scared the shit out of everything, i feel i get watched and also hate the silence when i stop for a second 😭
Try to go for main entrance instead of Fire exit since you (usually) have 3 paths to choose from, with one of the paths leading deep into facility. The other 2 paths will be dead ends so you don't really have to go too deep for them (again usually because some maps are big and have awful spawns). Once you start just constantly finding those brick wall maze segments you may wish to swap over to Fire exit to start looting because you can burn lots of time just looting for nothing. Try to bring EVERYTHING to a central path you are going to be taking everything back through (both in facility and outside) to help minimize wasted time and to go a bit faster. For instance, try to drop shovel inside main entrance as you enter so you aren't weighed down like 14-16 lbs more and can loot a bit faster. When you find objects try to bring them closer to the center of the room/path you are gonna walk back through so you can quickly see them and pick them up when leaving. When looting further into facility make sure to backtrack and keep bringing your shovel or you will literally be screwed if something attacks. Look up "ai guides" for all of the enemies because they are literally just so awful it's honestly unfair if you don't know how to at least somewhat counter them, this is especially evident for things like baboon hawks, and old birds. Try to keep a mental note of the entire facility when looting by always holding the right or left wall that way it's easier to backtrack. Try to keep a mental note on enemy spawns so you have some idea of what to expect at all times. Especially keep a mental note on how much you scrap you have and how much remains, you can see this by typing "scan" into the terminal when landing (that's also why I spam it, because bees spawn later than scrap so you can actually see how many bees spawn on a day because of that small bug). Transferring items solo takes FOREVER. Like several in-game hours for just 3 transfers on some maps, the more you play the better you'll have a feel for how long it'll take (I kinda just need to test how long it takes tbh). This challenge is heavily rng dependent. What I mean by that is if you get terrible enemy spawns and just no loot near the entrances you can just keep getting bad days and not even beat the challenge, so don't feel too bad if you die. Last bit of advice I have is to try and sell between 130-134 on your first quota so you get the best chances for a low quota next time and you also can get a high overtime when you sell on the 2nd week. The 130-134 number is because you can be slightly inaccurate, but every increment of 5 will increase the next quota price by 1 afaik (take this with a grain of salt). I might make a video fully going over this because I didn't even realize just how much there is to cover. Also sorry for the wall of text lmao.
@@coscoman3894 Dude just explained the meaning to life, the universe, and everything. XD The only that's wrong with this is that the next quota does not depend on how much you sell (tbf, you did say to take it with a grain of salt). The next quota is equal to 100 * (1+(numOfTimesYouveMetQuota)/16)^2 * (randomMultiplier) The randomMultipler is a random number from 1 to 2 with an average of 1.5, but it's not purely random. That is, some multipliers are more likely than others. The point is, how much you sell to make quota doesn't change the equation. EDIT: Ok, this is technically a little incorrect equation wise. The point still stands though.
