Hey everyone!
For my birthday, I treated myself to a much wanted spinning wheel. I have never used a spinning wheel, as a matter-of-fact, I have never seen a spinning wheel in real life. That said, I did purchase a bottom whorl drop spindle about a year ago. Sadly, I was never able to get the hang of spinning on a drop spindle.
After research and plenty of RU-vid videos, i decided on the Spinolution Echo. It was seemingly the most "user friendly" wheel I could find (well, all of the Spinolution wheels seem very user friendly). I loved the fact that the orifice bar and bobbin were magnetic and there is only 1 drive band and many other things.
I found a shop on Etsy (link below) that offers Lay-a-Way for these wheels! I contacted the shop and set up my payment plan and paid off my wheel as my birthday present to myself.
This is the unboxing of my new wheel. Set up was a breeze and I was able to locate the manual on-line (link below).
Join me as I unbox and marvel at my new wheel for the first time! I'm a little nervous as I hope I will love spinning on it; more importantly, I hope I can actually figure out how to spin! haha!
Happy Hooking....ooops...Happy Spinning!

Oh, and here is the link to my other half's channel! You can see my "alter ego" in all her glory as we have some laughs at my "ditsy" inner self. (Some of his older stuff may not be suitable for all audiences).
