Join me as I spend way too much time talking about watches from all price points (Seiko, Citizen, Grand Seiko, Rolex, Tudor, Omega, and microbrands) and all sorts of other watch topics.
The reason for the non classic Sinn Diver hands is also the oil filled thing, because the diver hands will give to much resistance. So they had to choose the "pilot" hands.
Hello @tissot_official please issue the HERITAGE 1938 AUTOMATIC COSC in 35-37mm size so that it's true to being a "heritage" watch, then you can take my money!!! This in a smaller size will look very cool on a bonklip bracelet
Don't!!!! I have also sold multiple watches over the years and even those taught me something about my my watch likes or dislikes, except for one particular piece. Two years ago I purchased a Tudor bb reverse panda and it is one of my favorite pieces. Yes , it is useful to have a 7.5" wrist. Anyway I then decided to part with my Tudor heritage red bezel 41 and was that a mistake. But I won't buy another 'maybe'? because that would be the beginning of a second rabbit hole 😮
I have the OP41 silver. I was coming from a 44 Apple Watch so 36 felt small. The watch is beautiful. The version with the 18k plated yellow gold dial hands adds a touch of elegance. The bracelet is amazingly comfortable.
While agree with the use of an aluminum bezel insert on the Black Bay models, don’t forget that you can also get matte ceramic bezel inserts. Not all ceramic inserts are glossy/polished. My Oris Aquis 39.5mm has a nice brushed matte ceramic insert, matte dial and fully brushed bracelet (I detest the bracelet with polished bits).
The pro was my fourth Tudor I purchased. I have the Pelagos blue dial date, BB41 and BBgmt opaline dial. I wish that Tudor makes their bracelets with micro adjustments T-fit. They are chunky monkeys but I have a 7 1/2 wrist and those watches command a wrist presence. Lol
I don't see the value here. No drilled lugs, no enamel or textured dial, no sappire bezel, no open case back, looks like every other Boring Bay. Better off with a Longines Ultra Chron.
I'm commenting on this 1 yr old video because it's still so relevant. I'd been eyeing the Tudor Pelagos LHD for some time(and I am right handed), and have watched numerous YT's on it. I finally went to a local AD and tried on the LHD, standard 42 Pelagos, and Pelagos 39. The 39 looked great on my 7 inch relatively flat wrist, and so did the standard(RHD) 42. But the 42 LHD looked that much better. I love the cream colored lume vs the stark white lume. I love the depth of the dial thanks to the stepped chapter ring(rehaut?) and applied markers. I also tried on the Black Bay 41 and really liked it, but not nearly as much as the Pelagos LHD. I love the Pelagos bracelet and ingenious clasp. The BB's faux rivets bracelet, maybe not so much. I bought the LHD and am loving it. Thanks for these great reviews.
I have both. But I really like what seiko did with the slim turtle. Aldi, there’s hardly any homage watches that copies it which makes me feel great wearing it.
One thing I wonder is, considering the price difference, what is the rough cost for servicing these? There would be quote differences from different servicers you can pick, I would imagine that if you have the Tudor, you would want it serviced by Tudor. I wonder what a full service for either is cost wise, a couple of people have suggested to me that a £500 ish Steinhart could cost £500ish to fully service.
HEY #amzwatch I have been watching you for years and im so proud of your achievements in watches.! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day <3
The BB54 is just about the perfect watch for my 6.5" wrist which I've had for 9 months. I have tried on so many other dive watches from Rolex / Omega / Breitling / Tag / Longines / Oris / Grand Seiko / Doxa / Certina / Squale and more. Nothing else offers the charm, versatility and wearability. Accuracy is outstanding too. Bravo Tudor. (Steps off Tudor soapbox)
I'm a hybrid watch lover; I have a couple of Citizen Eco Drives but even those sometimes leave a small, circular "battery burn" (my term) on my wrist so I migrated to automatics and/or NATO straps. I also bought a Casio Oceanus T-200 a couple of years back which seems to have a lot in common with this Zenshin. Any thoughts as to how the two compare? I'm in the mood for a new watch and was leaning heavily towards an automatic micro-brand but your review magnified my own ambivalence!
I just got into watch collecting. I've loved watches since I was young but I never had anyone teach me or bring deeper into the world. mamacoo brought closer to a community and hobby I always wanted to get into more and that is incredibly meaningful to me !
Can people who review this Watch stop calling it boring? It’s lazy, obviously you heard it from one guy he hears it from another you all say it! we know what we’re looking at. It’s monochrome stop using the word boring it’s a word that surplus to requirements the coffee man does that. Bark and whatever.
